Stock earbuds - any good?

they are good. You have to adjust the equaliser settings but I find them as good and comfortable as my more expensive in ear seinheisers (sp?!)

Thanks for the feedback - nice, I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy new ones! Durability is another matter - somehow I'm really hard on my earphones. My last 2 had wires rip, etc.

i would expect them to be better than the cheap-o ($5 - $10)..
this is a top tier device...but the ear buds will not be better than the $20 types.

i would be surprised if they are like my $70 Motorola.

I hope they are not the short ones. i would like them to be at least 5ft long.. with quality wires that are thick and dont bunch up and tangle.

Five feet long? I seriously doubt that will happen! As for myself, I like the short or normal length as I will only really use them in my pants pocket.

They're ok but would have preferred black.
I'm an android novice so forgive me if I've got this wrong, but if I switch to any 3rd party headphones would I have to give up volume controls? The ones I can find that aren't iphone specific seem to have one button that you can use to answer calls, play and pause music etc but not control volume. Given that samsung provide ones with that functionality in the box, why can't anyone else replicate that?

i have only seen .. bluetooth headsets that have those controls.

but if Sammy has them.. then there will be 3rd party coming soon.

If any US folks get this device today can you confirm it comes w/ earbuds. Looking on T-Mobile & Wirefly websites at this device, & in the section that says "In the box" it doesn't say earbuds.

I just left a T-Mobile store after checking out this device, I can confirm it comes w/ earbuds. So nobody panic. :D

I know right...if it didn't come w/ earbuds I was soooo not going to get this device. :D

It's just weird as it is usually mentioned, but these days getting earbuds w/ a phone is just par for the coarse I guess.

but funny thing is... 99% of the time.. i dont use the ones that come with the phone.
but for some reason.. I want it! :P
if it did not.. how cheap of them not to include one!

I am hoping they put some quality headphones in there... i will be pleasantly surprised if they do.

They looked like the same ones, although I honestly can't say it looked at them too much when I was at T-Mobile today, I got w/ my S3. So as I stated earlier in this thread not to shabby.
