Thanks Geek. Will it play on your GNex?

I want it to work on both devices, but Gnex is where I flash all the time. I have not once flashed a ROM on this here N7. :-)
 
You may be right Jmar. Here's trying to watch Transformers on my GNex.

^Dread beat me to it. Should see anywhere from 30-60 meteors per hour around 11pm through dawn. Clear skies here in Alabama coupled with owning some land out in the country means I'll probably pack up the N7, Canon 60D, tripod, couple of chairs and a blanket and head out tonight for some star gazing and astrophotography :)
 
Being in a rural area has its advantages sometimes: the sky is forecast to be nice and clear for the meteor shower tonight.

And yes, I plan to be out there watching it :D
 
Anyone here and astrophotography specialist??? I tried getting some shots during the Perseids but they didn't turn out so well. I think I had too long of a shutter speed so that the time the meteor was visible was relatively small compared to the exposure. I think if I cut it down to 5 second exposures and have my DSLR controller going on the N7 to shoot with only a 1 second delay between shots I could get a few. I'll have hundreds of pictures to delete, but I might get one good one, haha
 
greetings all, been a while since I was back on here but just wanted to vent. Went into a VZW store today to kill some time, hold the Razr Maxxxxxxxxxxx HD and just goof around. Anyway, I walk on over to the GNex and what do I see....a horrible ugly black soft case wrapped around this beautiful phone. Didn't even fit right.

I swear, Verizon hates the Galaxy Nexus, here you have all these sexy phone (and I do admit that Razr Max HD felt nice in the hand) and sitting on ONE phone is this piece of crap cover. Next time any of you are in a VZW store, take a peek to see if it is a mandate from corporate or maybe just something this store decided to do for some odd reason. It's like having a playboy playmate and sticking her in the thickest, most unflattering snowsuit you can find....just unethical I tell you.

Well, first I had to uninstall it with TiBu. Didn't have to with my Gnex. When I went to install it through Astro it failed. Not sure if it's a tablet thing or something else.
The swipe to archive really is cool though. Haven't peaked in on the multitouch capabilities. Where did you find the apk? Pretty sure I shouldn't post it here so feel free to PM.

Saw the HD for the first time today at BB. Also the M.
Have to say, the HD is certainly a sexy phone but like reviews have said, it just feels awkward in the hand. Just a brick.
The Gnex looks to be now just $50 on contract. If VZW can't load a phone with as much bloat as possible they won't support it. ;)

I have it working on my GNex but hadn't tried loading it up on my N7. Works great on the GNex. Think I got the apk from Android Police.
