I understand the Ipad isn't a phone and doesn't directly compete with Incredible but...anyone think Verizon may be trying to avoid releasing too close to the ipad launch date?
 
Aww b29, your my friend IRL. Figured I would join to say thanks for taking the pic and see you after work. I wanna play with the Eris you got while waiting for the Incredible.

The store you could tell was one of the conversion stores from Alltel and the equipment was NOT in the back, rather it was just off to the side. (Thankfully) :D

I don't think so. What would be their motivation for doing that?

Not to name names or try to flame anyone, I just find it odd that the majority of the people who get positive news (i.e. just talked to a manager/csr/friend-who-knew-a-guy-that-dated-a-girl) have a relatively low post count or are "first time , long-timers" the cynic in me is telling me to take what they say at it's face value but the Steven58 in me wants to throw them a ticker tape parade. Just saying I can't be the only one that feels this way...

I am guilty of offering my went to the vzw store.... and I am new, but I offered absolutely ZERO valuable information so there is no reason to doubt my post. :D

Or, should I just pout for another year and keep stalking this forum............

P.S. I do have a friend in ATL that works at a non-corporate VZW Store... He had no clue about this phone.... When I mentioned the specs he said ohh the Supersonic??? For some reason he's heard of it and thought it was to be named the Supersonic.... I think he may be on the forum now.....

I got my wife an Eris. I knew she would be happy with it because that 's what some of the girls at work have. The good part is, I get to play with it(the phone) while going through the excruciating process of waiting for the Incredible. :D

QFT!! Hubby has been on vacation all week. He's been complaining that the laptop seems glued to my lap! i catch up when out on my omnia. OMG Im obsessive compulsive! I cant stop either!

I'd do the same but the wife isn't too keen on sharing..... That and I talked her into waiting for the Iphone so that I can use the upgrade on the INC. :D
