Root sd card vanishes all pics gone until

IS it me or is something going on? I use my phone for a word game, texts and camara but after a certain while i notice that my pictures in my gallery are gone. no albums are there, until I reboot again then it reads the sd card. What is going on? I have fix permissions like 3 times since the day before yesterday. Can anybody tell me what to do? Please

SD card maybe getting ready to fail? I would backup EVERYTHING for starters...

Unmount and mount your sd card in storage settings..
