I personally would wait before getting the N1 as the Incredible will be just plain better in just about every measure, with the possible exception of all the Google voice features (Google Maps, GPS, voice-to-text, etc) free and standard on the N1 (not sure if the Incredible has anything like that)

However, to be honest, I'm like you- if I hadn't heard of the Incredible fishing around for information on the N1 at CTIA I would be impatiently awaiting my N1 right now, thinking it's the best thing available
 
Would not be surprised if it was "Emulators" as that would be a way to play Sonic on a Droid. And as far as I know, you can use emulators on any Android phone. As far as controls go, the Droid may have better controls, which anything that has an actual keypad will always be better at than anything touchscreen as far as video games go, IMO.
 
Anyone know why I keep getting emails from Android Forums about random posts, even though I turned off that function and saved changes (and logged off) hours ago?

I recall someone else having this problem a couple weeks back?

Can anyone help?

Check to make sure you are unsubscribed to this thread then make sure in usercp that autosubscribe to theads i post in is off and save. think that is what ur looking for
 
I think this is what makes the most sense. We'll get an announcement next week, and will get a release the following week.

(By makes the most sens, I mean what I hope happens.)

Rep 2: Yeah.. i have heard that it is supposed to be a monster, but i have yet to see it in my hand.
Me: Do you know when it might come out?
Rep 2: I believe it is May Jun-ish!
Me: WHAT?! Are you serious? It is almost as if the Nexus One and Incredible are never going to come out.
Rep 2: Well, the Nexus One should be out very soon, the reason for the delay was because there were 3g issues so we wanted to release it without any problems. And the Incredible is taking a while because they had to wait for 2.1 to come out and then upgrade their Sense UI to work properly on the phone.

Now the interesting part....
1) The reps both said Nexus One coming out soon, so maybe Monday is probable.
2) This Verizon store is in the mall and always has the windows covered with advertisement, mostly DROID. Today; NOTHING! It was just to bare! It has me thinking that the Incredible might be releasing soon because Verizon stores only advertise their flagship phone. Since November 2009, that has been DROID and those posters have stayed there until now. I believe that the Incredible MUST be coming out soon.. i am really looking forward to next week. I think we should have some good news.

Bull. They have that os on an identically speced phone. Same screen size, AMOLED, etc.

Can I possibly start dating a guy that works for Verizon.... People say I'm pretty & I have a great rack........

Or, should I just pout for another year and keep stalking this forum............

P.S. I do have a friend in ATL that works at a non-corporate VZW Store... He had no clue about this phone.... When I mentioned the specs he said ohh the Supersonic??? For some reason he's heard of it and thought it was to be named the Supersonic.... I think he may be on the forum now.....

Sorry, but i can't have sympathy for anyone that plays the "I'll get a phone now knowing that I'll use Verizons return policy, just to have a new toy for 30 days"

Yes, that's their policy, but never intended to be used as a 30 day phone rental
