I checked for availability of the Jelly Bean update for my unbranded S3 this morning, and am now getting the following message rather than the previous "No update available"...

"Access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. Try later"

I take it that this means the update has been released and is rolling out now. Has anyone else seen this or managed to download the update yet? I'm on EE (Orange/T-Mobile) in the UK.

Try checking through Kies, mine came through yesterday.

I just picked up my phone to find that the update has been downloaded on my unbranded device, and the installation is now currently running :smokingsomb:

Yep, I was getting that message. Just used Kies instead...updated straight away.

I have tried kies several times and it only shows my current version with no option to update, i am still getting the message above.

Mine didn't the first time I tried. So I unplugged it and carried on using my phone for a bit, then when I plugged it back into my laptop later that evening it prompted me to download the latest firmware.

Just keep trying it

This. Just installed and can see not a lot of difference

When I look for the OTA it keeps telling me there is no update available. I'm not getting the 'wait your turn' message.

Also, Kies says it cannot update my device using the Kies system.

What gives?
