Everything starts w a beginning, We needed one for boost. all the SPRINT roms already in use work w our BOOST phones. TEAM VENUM has some debloated modded roms that r fast n themed real nice. started w WICKED SENSATIONS which has a working GOOGLE NOW w cards.just switched to the BLU KUBAN w the new KUBAN KERNEL. Can b overclocked n has a load of tweaks incl, govenors, you can easily flash different modems n even kernels inside this rom. its all automated. All the mods n tweaks r automated. Crazy Good

The BLU KUBAN has the new FI27 built in. Im getting fast GPS locks on the Wicked Sensation with FH13 and the Blu Kuban with FI27. Both Modems r working great from New Orleans to San Antonio, 3G, 4G and GPS.

Was hoping for a thread like this but you should include a general how-to for each ROM or whats required with the links provided for beginners like myself who get confused easily. I've been wanting to try out a jellybean ROM and I've heard AOKP is good but I don't have the slightest clue on how to flash the ROM besides using recovery mode. I'm new to flashing and semi new to rooting. If anyone can help me through PM(don't want to hijack the thread) go from stock root(used the sticky guide to rooting) with AGAT's kernel to AOKP and list the problems that are current with the ROM I'd be very happy. (:

is it pre-ported to work on boosts phone????
All th roms for SPRINT Epic 4g touch work on BOOST 4g touch. Tried n tested. Everything you need is here, just read n read n you will b flashin roms. any questions ask here r GOOGLE.

Alright, thank you very much for the information. :)

I have got root and using the agat kernel. I have tried to install cm10 2 or 3 times, with no luck. It said that found the file ,but could not open it. I redownloaded the the file three times thinking it was bad, still no luck. I have installed an other kernel with cwm recovery, and tried that to get something about error 7, I think it was. I did get AOKP d710 unofficial cm10 rom to install, but the gps on some apps was like 180* off. So I went back to stock rom FH31. I guess it is not for me, keep running into rock walls, HeHe I will try again latter on I guess.

Not all roms come with a kernel, USMC3891 is correct. By the way "USMC3891" thank you from all of us for your service to our country. There are quite a few roms that come with kernels tho. Also when your downloading the rom zips the download can sometimes get corrupted. Try a different mirror or download the file again if that happens. Make sure you have a good usb cable, a good one will make all the difference.
