How can I stop gmail from linking all my email contacts to my phone contacts? Crap this is annoying

I do not think you can do that. However, you can tell your phone to display only contacts with telephone numbers.

Hi, how about trying to go to "Settings" then scroll down to "Accounts", select your email account (e.g. Google), click on your email address and uncheck the box for "Sync Contacts"?

It seems to work for me though.

Are you saying gmail is adding a contact for every person that you send an email to? If thats it i know how to fix that just let me know.
