I got my Sprint Note 2!!! How about you.

For all you folks on this thread that have your precious little ( o.k. not little :p ) Note 2's. YOU SUCK !!! And I mean this in the friendliest way possible. :D:D:D

I'm just a jealous Verizon customer so I'll live thru you guys until I get mine. :p;)
 
Phones reach their boring mark within about 6 mos for me. This is the first phone I've had in years in which I don't see myself getting bored with it. I've had people ALL day asking me if they can hold it. I said "you can hold any phone you want at the store!"

AND I still haven't been to sleep since Wed. Hyped about getting it. Hyped I have it. Hyped every time I put it down I pick it back up.

Oh and here's a shocker....by now many of us have a bunch of micro usb cords so since they're all over my house I didn't take the one that came with the note out the box until much later in the afternoon.

I was STUNNED I tell you; it was so long. Samsung's cords are notoriously short and haven't been much to write home about. This was definitely pleasing if you're into that sorta thing. :D

Haha I haven't unpacked mine either, because I'm going to let the battery die all the way before charging it. That is VERY good news. I always buy extra long cords so when the phone is plugged in on my nightstand, I can use it in bed if I need to.

Thanks for the heads up! Now if it just wasn't white... :(

Absolutely positively none! LOLOL My husband just called (he's working nights right now) and I felt like a little kid in trouble for not cleaning my room! :D

I have more of my awesomely awesome phone set up though.. lol
 
LOL!!! My is still not set up. Don't know when I'm going to get around to doing it. As far as the cord being white...I LOVE IT! Matches everything else. Last thing I want is another black cord.

I've been sitting on my upgrade since 8/1...Originally I was going to get the GS3 but as soon as I heard those Note 2 rumors, S3 no longer stood a chance. I couldn't imagine waiting til 12/25. That's an eternity in phone years.

I still have a long way to go, and I won't be doing much more until Sunday. I can't goof off tomorrow or there will be people laughing instead of screaming at our mini haunted house.

I keep picking up the phone and trying to turn the screen on at the top like my Evo! Wonder when that will stop? And the home button is going to take some getting used to, but it's not as troublesome as I thought it was going to be.

The widget 'list?' is odd to me, but I guess just because it's different. So many new things, we'll be busy for a while!

I cant lie....I didn't even notice it like that until that damn QBKing had to point it out. LOL!!! You know how something doesn't bother you until you're made aware of it......now all of a sudden it's Houston We Got a Problem!

He also mentioned Google Wallet not supported for our device. I checked my phone and again, if he hadn't posted that video I wouldn't have realized for a while that not only is it not supported but I cant even find it on my phone anywhere. *shakes fits at QB*

He mentioned a 3rd issue but I forgot what it was and I'm not going to go looking for it now either. :D

If I remember correct the 3rd issue was the mobile data ( 3G ) cut off during calls. If this is the case, how the heck am I suppose to surf the web during my work conference calls. :D

BTW : the delay isn't that bad in the video, sometimes these "phone geeks" over blow stuff. :rolleyes:

yeah :( my family's having some innocent fun at my expense since i already have my accessories planned out, and even the prepaid plan i'm planning to get ($5 for unlimited texts to all networks, 180 mins of call to all networks owned by my carrier, and 100 mb of data for 30 days :D). i just need the phone, lol :D

edit: meh. looks like that plan is a promo only until nov 15 :p

Haha! I didn't even think of doing that. It was so sweet though. He was soooooo happy! He said that it made his day. And he bought me a bouquet of roses (and believe it or not, he bought me the roses BEFORE he knew about the phone! He's so sweet!)

I mentioned it in another thread, but the SVDO is not present in the FCC docs of this device and thus you will not be able to call and surf the web at the same time. I am a bit surprised at qbking77 for not knowing that. But I'm glad he posted the video and sent it to Samsung. The more folks complain to Samsung the faster they may issue a update.

As for the power up lag and the google wallet oh and the multi-view capability missing. They were all missing in the INternational version as well when that version deployed. It was an update that brought it back. I assume the same will happen here.

What I don't understand is why did it did happen here. There isn't much difference between the International version and the US version and yet the international version got their update a while back. That should have been plenty of time for Samsung, Sprint or mother hubbard to have gotten this fix before deployment.

It still boggles my mind that these carriers/manufacturers just don't test these things before deployment so that it can be as less problem free as possible.

maybe that is why Verizon is taken their time deploying their version.
