Root uot?

I've been trying to use uot kitchen to theme a couple roms I use on my phone. Unfortunately every attempt has ended in failure. If anyone could make me a guide, Or give me a link to one, I would greatly appreciate it.

Please make a guide...I have been trying to figure this out for months...I know you mount system and data but I still have gotten force closes...I dunno if it was the rom

You all have been a huge help, thank you.
Im still having problems with the battery icon.
I made a theme with uot,wiped cache and dalvik, mounted system and data,flashed the theme, and rebooted. My battery stayed the same. Am i missing something?
