It only had linux on it. It would not boot past GRUB. So I decided to just use it to back up my Mac Book to prepare it for dual booting windows 8.

After reviewing the reviews and news on the new iPad Mini, I definitely respect it as a device. It's an attractive piece of hardware. I am still more inclined to go the MS Surface avenue when it surfaces (hahaha) in stores, simply because I need something that can eventually replace my laptop when it dies.

That said, believe it or not, the iPad Mini's strongest selling point is its price.
