Iphone to verizon = Flocks and Flocks of people Joining up

= Data traffic galore.

Would it really be data traffic galore?

With ATT you can do two things at once.... data/voice.

With Verizon you can only do one thing at once. Data or Voice.

Seems like it would be less taxing on the network.

I have no background in this what so ever....
What do you guys think?

I never understood it, if you don't like the iphone, fine, but why do people have to poo-poo things they don't care for.

BUT, let EVERYONE come to Verizon, as it will just build a bigger (and more free mobile to mobile friends) and better network.

No need to be exclusive.

I'd rather the Iphone users not come to Verizon so we don't have the same problems that Att does. It's a much better network of course but even Verizon's towers have a limit. With unlimited plans so affordable mobile to mobile won't matter anymore. If they stay with Att that's just fine with me.

Each tower has a limit as to how many callers it can pick up once that limit is reached no one else can jump on it. Many callers multi-tasking could make it slower to use but the fear is not being to connect at all.

Actually, not proving either way, but running a quick search on Google I see several references to the Verizon intranet applicant named InfoManger. Maybe someone from Verizon can verify for certain.

If I was CEO of Verizon, even if I knew I would make money bringing the iPhone to Verizon I wouldn't do it just because Apple decided to stick with one carrier off the bat for couple of years. Let AT&T keep the iPhone and we'll keep all the better Android phones with no bloatware oh yeah, and no drop calls. Android market share is catching up very quickly to the out of date iPhone OS, soon it will surpass it.

My thoughts exactly...but I think the whole thing is fake.

Just my opinion.

Could be, but I saw a delivery for a $600 valued android device for BB Mobile to be delivered on the 25. I know it's weird that it is a Sunday but it would coincide with a 28th launch. Apparently it's supposed to be here by the end of the month so believing in that date should save me a lot of frustration.

Why is everyone bashing the iPhone..............if im not mistaken, i recall Apple coming to Verizon to carry the iPhone in the first place, but Verizon turned it down. So isn't it Verizons fault for turning down the iPhone?

Notice how it says ADDITIONAL android launch??? Hmmmm... why would you say additional if you weren't launching 2 androids in the same month? maybe this is the nexus since it has been widely publicized that it will come in spring and the incredible will still come sooner!!

P.S we dont have anything like that on our calander

Kcoan- can you clarify the Infomanger/manager debate

Why are we even talking about the iPhone in here....:)

It's all about the bottom line - nothing else matters in business.

Hey....idk......i didn't bring it up, i just see ppl talking about it but just bashing the hell out of the phone in some sort of biased way.

Im here for Android but im no fanboy and the iPhone is still a great device. You said the OS is out of date........im pretty sure the new one is going to improve everything, OS 4.0, possibly multi-tasking but idk, it's apple.

Anyways, the calendar is photoshopped yes? HTC Incredible is coming when? no one knows as usual..........

I also found a lot of Google results with the infoMANGER spelling. My main reason for believing it is fake/photo shopped is that it is the only block on the calender that has the lower text, and it just happens to be the block we are all supposed to be focusing on. You know, the one with the earth shattering news.

If the calendar is fake, then perhaps the Incredible is coming out sooner-ish?

Font size also seems to be smaller........the letts and text atleast look smaller when compared to Infomanger (w/e it's called) to the right of it on the other box.

I had someone check it out and it looks like it's been loaded into the search data base. Nothin special. Could be part of the back end process in preparation. They couldn't find anything else.

Verizon didn't pick up the iCrap because the first iteration that was offered to them was simply a glorified featurephone [Plain English= dumbphone], and didn't even feature 3G data... basically the mobile business was evolving at that point away from crap like that. It wasn't until the 3G or 3GS that it was a good device, and my Verizon friends tell me Apple kept asking Verizon to carry it, but Verizon demanded features that aren't available in Steve HandJobs locked down ecosystem.

It is confirmed however that negotiations have STILL been dragging on to get Verizon to carry it.
