I assume the "something huge" is the HTC Incredible.

I really do not mind waiting until May to see the Incredible. I still have the terrible Chocolate and have been waiting for something incredible (no pun intended) to come out. So I'll be waiting it out for both phones.

If what you are saying is true, HUUUUGE would probably refer to the iPhone's announcement, because apart from geeks like us, the Incredible is probably not that HUUUUUGE. ;)

hopefully the "something" being released in April is the Incredible and the "something huge" may possibly be the Shadow or the Iphone ( though I think it would be too soon for the Iphone):D


Edit: Also don't want poor Steven to have to eat his hat :p

ohh ok no wonder. I started to follow this board right before CTIA but even then some folks were talking about how it would be underclocked to 7xx mhz to save battery life. If they were talking about that just 2 weeks ago I don't get how a month ago it was confirmed that it wouldn't be underclocked? Well I'm glad it won't be since it seems the standard now is 1 ghz looking forward to the so-called scorpion 1.5 ghz

Pretty sure this is just the device activation where VZW would register the phone's ESN w/ your account. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The Incredible does autopopulate when you start typing "HTC I..." into InfoManager so obviously we're not the only ones searching for.. But the only result that InfoManager gives is those spec screens that NKT and I have posted... For now... :)
 
so why does verizon bother to try to keep secrets when they know were're going to eventually find them out and spread them across the internet anyway?

also, and unrelated: why is there an AC chat channel when no one really talks?

AND, I do not believe that Verizon would even have an employee meeting/meeting of any sort regarding the release of the Nexus. I see it popping up on the google.com/phone site and....well....thats is. I Dont see Verizon being to excited about this deal. They get data charges and thats it. Other than a data contract they get nothing.

If the end of April was in this post, I would only assume that this is the Incredible. I believe the post with pictures about the 28th of April. I am going to assume this is legit because I have to in order to be able to function day to day :p
 
Just wanted to chime in and say thanks to all those still actively seeking out and posting new information. Had this calendar and link to VZ's infodoc site been posted a a few weeks ago, we would have gone nuts.

I know we've been let down several times, but that shouldnt force us to turn turn our backs on every single shred of info we're receiving here along with lynching anyone who dares post it. Afterall, since this threads' inception, we've been going off of pure speculation, so why turn new info down when it's the exact same kind we've been receiving since day 1.
 
i just talked to a lady at the local verizon and she didn't know anything pretty much. but she kind of sounded like the nexus one was more up in the air than the incredible due to apple's whole lawsuit thing.

Nice, but that looks like Linux commands, I'm on Windows. You probably have linux and could run the script?

I wouldn't put too much stock in this website. They may have been following our boards. If they tried to extrapolate "Spring 2010" to an April release, they are wrong. First day of summer is June 21 (give or take for location). That's an awful big margin of error.

Also, the tag cloud's most frequently clicked link is "Indian Premier League," so......eeeh.

Dont ya mean NKT??? And I hate to be the bearer of bad news but when you do not buy a phone at the Verizon store...ie Ebay then the programming that is described at https://infodoc.verizonwireless.com/Infomanager/Areas/Equipment/159211.htm is done on every phone to be able to get the phone on the right settings. THis is not for a update for the OS. I have played with all these settings before with my HTC Apache aka 6700.

Yeah, I am sure she has a lot of information about that. She probably is friends with someone in the legal department.
