SGN2 64GB Wanted in Canada

10sNinja

Newbie
I WANT to buy the Note 2 unlocked white with 64GB, LTE. I'm in Toronto, ON Canada.
1) ***** Anyone know How, Where, When this will be possible? *****
2) I'm willing to buy it online but concerned about warranty issues if bought from another country. What other risks should I be concerned with?
3) Any suggestions which carrier provides best deal on data?
Thanks to all in advance for sharing your information. :)

basically they dont exist
It's frustrating, because they have existed, in Korea, since late September, but their LTE is of course not compatible in the US. I've also seen a couple of listings on eBay (again, for the Korean version). However, there was a report in mid-October (and I mentioned this on another thread) that Samsung was going to stop production of the 64GB variants in Korea -- I don't know if production has already ceased yet. This makes me wonder if the 64gb will be available at all in the rest of the world. I may settle for the 32gb, but even that size isn't available. :(

Might have to do the same. I'll be sure to post if I find one but it's getting harder to wait. Can anyone convince me to settle for the 16GB?

To Liam and active posters. I read the post on 64GB version? in full. Thank you sooo much for your efforts and time spent keeping the rest of us well informed. I have to say I'm sad, angry and disappointed. I can see Apple deserving credit for delivering on specs and features they market. On principle, if Samsung much later releases the 64GB at a comparable price as the 16GB version, they will have lost my trust and I'll be happy to have an iPhone. That being said, I'm not ready to give up on the Galaxy Note 2 as my first truly smart phone. For now, I'll continue my search for the 32/64GB versions and will update you fine folks on what I find. Again, thank you. ;)

Just saw a video on youtube where this guy claimed to have one (not sure if it was in the thread you mentioned, was way too long to read every post), he said he bought it in korea, and it cost over 1000 USD with the exchange rates and stuff.

Lucidmike78 who did that vid if I'm not mistaken is the same Lucidmike whose a member of this forum. More power to him for getting a 64GB Note 2 but his is the Korean version. He even said in the vid "if you can get on a plane you can get it over here".....meaning he was still in Korea. Samsung likes releasing the really nice goodies over there while we get the 16. There's no way in hell I'm going to spend $1000+ US dollars on a phone. Tech changes to quick for that.

I contacted Samsung Canada. Here's their reply:
Thank you for contacting Samsung Customer Care.
We understand that you want to know if Galaxy Note II 64GB white LTE available in Canada.
We are sorry; as of now 16GB internal memory Galaxy Note II is only available in Canada.
Thank you for contacting Samsung.
Kind regards,

So, unless I cave in to the 16GB soon, I'll try waiting until December to February to see if the 32GB version is released.
