Root [QUS] Custom Rom- themeing

Ok, so im creating a UOT kitchen theme right now for myself and i'm at the end and i have 3 questions to ask about it.

1. Will the theme work for the stock rom or do i need to flash a custom rom?

2. when i upload the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk does it have to be for the custom rom or the stock rom?

3. does anyone have the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk for the stock rom or for tagged because if i need a custom rom i'm going to use tagged.
 
To answer #3.. you can pull those files from /system/app/SystemUI.apk and /system/framework/framework-res.apk. They're in the same place on every ROM.
 
You can use the uot themes on the stock rom or any of the custom roms.

You want to use the framework and systemui files for the rom you are wanting to use the theme on. It may work but you generally don't want to flash a theme built for one rom on another rom. So if you build a theme for stock you don't want to flash it on tagged or one of the other roms.
 
When I flash my new role do I need to have and actual account in titanium back up to get my backed up apps or no???
 
Yep flash uot themes in recovery. Wipe cache and dalvik cache, do a backup just in case and flash uot zip.
