Not my work, but this is my rom of choice on the Gnex. I highly recommend you guys try it out. Here's the XDA thread which is formatted much better than this:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1822349

And here is the link to the dark mods, which will invert some or all of the rom. I personally do the all in one package.

How do I read the md5sum zip file that he supplies. I know how to verify when the developer gives me a number but don't know how to get the number out of the zip file.

EDIT: figured it out - open with notepad.

Ha! Going to try this but i ran out of daylight today. Thx for the recommendation.

Can't you just long press the zip file with file explorer, go to properties>show checksum?

I had this on the Nexus 4G for a little bit.
I looked at it today but I hate all of the download zips that are needed to have everything working.
I'd love just one big zip file with gapps.

Maybe this week I can get it flashed.

The extra stuff are the inversion options. All you NEED are the rom and the rom's gapps. It's important to flash the slim gapps because it includes a hacked market that can properly handle the rom's default DPI settings.

If you want inversion, just get the All in one (AIO) inversion file which includes all the framework changes and gapps. Default kernel is Lean 4.5. I recommend getting the base rom and the AIO inversion file. That's it. I'm running with Lean 4.5 and it's a dream. Ask Frenchy, I complain about everything, and his Gtalk has been pretty quiet as of late.

Oh cool. Thanks Mizzou.

So I'll just use those two.
I wasn't sure what the AIO stood for.
Thanks again.

Yes this is how I determine the checksum on my pc after i download it so then I compare the number I have to the one on the ROM website. But on the slim website, the Md5 is not a number, it is in a zip file called a md5sum.zip and I don't know how do get the number out of this file.

edit: Well, for once I'm answering my own question: open the .md5sum file with notepad.

Ah, I flashed it this afternoon. I thought I had the inverted apps but apparently not since they aren't at the moment.

I should be able to just flash the dark apps over it I'd assume.

I left the stock kernel but knocked the voltages down -25 on 350, 700, and 920 mhz which is what I usually have for a max on the cpu.

Does anyone leave the DPI where it's set as default? I went to the stock Gnex settings.

Just thought I'd mention that Slim 3.0 is up. Still based on 4.1.2 I believe.

I hope to flash this week. It has the 4.2 apps in the Gapps package now too.
