Nexus 4 watering hole

I've merged the 2 watering hole threads we had going.

Got it done before either had a ton of posts, so it shouldn't be too hard for everyone to get caught up!

I'm 100% the only shocking thing was how little my wife put up a fight as soon as Google announced it. We are both getting one.

Guess I owe Google a big thinks on the pricing for making it easier

Now if I can just get her to let me root her's and not put up a fight I'll be making huge progress, I won't hold my breath on the rooting thing though.

Yeah alright mate that's grand. Dam thought i would.be an op in a big thread but oh well.
Only thing is that you should probably move it to the lounge as the other watering holes ate there

Shipping times

UK users:

I phoned my local O2 store and they have the 16GB in stock for tomorrow.

I wonder whether they'll sell them without contract... I forgot to ask.
 
I plan on ordering a Nexus 7 along with the N4. I hope that doesn't throw a monkey wrench into the process.
 
Nice to see the thread is active but I can't believe mine was merged so I'm no longer the op but oh well. How is everyone and mate the wife might just get a bit suspicous if u get a new phone and tablet
 
The tablet is for our son for xmas ... and was her idea. I was just going to tack on the N4 as an early self-present. :D

I'm going to the Tmobile store to pick mine up, as long as it isn't that much more than BestBuy. Right now I can get 2 Nexus 4's at Tmobile for $500 (with $100 in mail in rebates) or I can get 2 at BestBuy for $350.

I've already been to the Tmobile store and the salesman said he would talk to the manager about giving me $50 off per phone to match BestBuy's phone freedom offer I qualify for if I go through BestBuy. That would put it at $400 plus the mail in rebates, and no waiting for the phone to arrive.

We'll see what happens in a couple days.

I however have to wait a while until I'm in England to get it as its a rip off In eland
 
Not sure how long it has been there, but the Nexus 4 bumper is on Google Play now. It will probably go on sale the same time as the Nexus 4.
