Note 2 Screen Recording Feature

Screen Recorder is not working / has been removed from Galaxy Note2 due to potential copy-write infringements.
If you have purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note2 after watching their advertising stating this feature will be included you can take Samsung to your local small claims court for a full network, retail refund plus your expenses!!

They are breaking the (UK law) Sale of Goods Act 1979 where goods must be: 'as described'. Therefore they are liable to refund contract and retail price of my phone and will be doing so. (less recision)

The retailer is not at fault as product is not repairable and vodafone (my network provider) is not at fault as coverage is as stated.

Hope this helps

Gutted

Source? Well, either way, what total bummer, although not a deal breaker. but good to know so I am not waiting for something that will never come.

To be honest I didn't even know about this feature until you guys mentioned it, now I want my money back!
Lol, its a nice feature but one I will probably never use, might be in a future upgrade maybe.

I agree it's a nice feature but not one I need at all.

On another note, I am surprised by how many posts I've read in which people have gotten this phone based on particular features; be it one or 2.

Riddle me this~~What if those features were NEVER shown in videos.....would you have still gotten the phone?

The main features for me were the large screen and the higher specs. If jellybean runs as well on the S3 as it does on the GN2 I would say there would be no compelling reason to move from the S3.

Good question.

lets see.
I love Sprint and all and have been with them a long time, but The Note 1 has shown me that if I really want something, then no matter how devoted I am to a carrier or manufacturer, I will go to the one that offers me the best device for my needs.

With that said. If I were still traveling like I used to internationally, then I would have probably have gone with either AT&T or T-Mobile. but since I don't, the SIM card issue is moot for me. I just advocate for those that need it.

As for the other features,
I would still get the device since I feel the processor, jellybean and bigger screen are better than the Note 1. Plus I like the S3 and the Note 2 looks like a slightly bigger version.

So yeah I would still get the device if I didn't see those videos. The videos just drove me nuts. lol

TS as much as I LOVE your response, you don't count. You don't fly off the deep end and threaten to leave your carrier because they failed to give you a free bag of potato chips. :D

I guess my question was more for the ones who ALWAYS threaten to leave for one reason or another.

I wasn't aware of all the features but knew I was getting this phone. I think it's been my personal mission since the Note 1 never saw the light of day on Sprint. The missing features don't bother me as I'm confident we'll eventually get them.

wait. Wait a minute, they gave away free bag of potato chips. WTF
that's it. I'm switching. That's the last straw.

Funny thing is I can picture people going off about that......if it were true but it's not people!!!! NO carrier was giving out free chips!!!!!
