Root 4G LTE but no bars to make calls??

title pretty much says it all i have 4glte showing up, but no bars to make a text or a phone call. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

yeah no problem bro. i was in the same predicament. you might also have to call metro after all of it if you still dont get service so they can reprogram it . and do not skip steps bro. do it all. id say about 20 minutes to fix this problem. best of luck

happened to me the same thing when I put the rom without service 2.5-3 thanks even friend of this forum could help me but my question time


someone is left without servicion with the new 2.5.4 rom???

that I did not and changed me stay withthe 1.6 rom rom works fine and I hope your comment greetings

yeah but the weird thing is i didnt change to any other roms. ive been running number 2 for a couple of months and it was fine up until yesterday.

yup its been happening lately to alot of people i know with the esteem. regardless of what you do it will happen it seems like. i did nothing was able to call in the morning then come 3pm and no bars but i had 4G. Fuzzys thread helped me out big time. just had to call metro in the end so they can put my signal back on their network.

so once you got out of test mode you went to metro and they put all the info for the signal back on your phone? I cant put in the info. manually itkeeps giving me an error with SPC. Also thanks for the responses :D

this is what i did. i followedthe steps on fuzzys test mode fix. i got all my bars back but couldnt make calls or text still. when id call an auotmated service would tell me to press 1 to call yada yada.. so i called metro from another phone and told them that i have no service but i had bars and they reprogramed the phone step by step . i guess you can go to metro and let them do it physically but personally im to lazy to go all the way over there when i can just call, sit back and relax while they fix my phone lol. P.S the store is like 2 blocks away from my house haha
