Eris will Not be getting 2.1, That's it

Guess what, its not going to happen. The Incred and Nex are coming out with 2.1 and according to my sources in VZW the Eris will be left behind. We bought left over junk.

Yea i forgot the Incredible and Nexus One were available 5 months ago when i bought my Eris......
 
The leak was just some thing to shut all of us up till the launch of the new phones. Sad part is no one has figured it out yet
 
Odd. My phone sure looks like it has 2.1.

I highly doubt they would go through the bother of making 2.1 for the Eris just to not release it. I just think that the N1 and Incredible are going to come out first.

Besides, 1.5 isn't bad. 2.1 give a few improvements but it's far from a reason for everyone to get all pouty.
 
Not saying you are wrong, but if that's the case, someone is going through and awful lot of trouble (the 2 leaks with build dates a couple of weeks apart, that we know of) for nothing! Just a thought...
 
Word on the street is that VZW decided it was cheaper to send all Eris users a new Incredible than to do the 2.1 OTA.
 
Dude we've heard stories of people from Verizon saying all kinds of things that we know aren't true. Haven't we already established that they come HERE for information?
 
Hmmm must have a pretty reliable source. I am convinced. One guy on a forum said that the leak is a sham so I have to believe him. It is now the truth! Ok guys back up your stuff and go home the OTA update is not coming anymore.
 
Ok so if its IS coming... where is it?? and when?? on the other hand, what do unsupported leaks actually mean:confused:

We have to be getting OTA. Who would waste time creating the software to not have it released?! I don't agree with this tread.

Anyway.. only time can tell alot of people have different stuff to say... If Q2 goes by and no update I think we can start getting a little concerned. If it reaches that point I am just going to grab the leak.

O well I guess ill just buy an ipad and give up on rooting the leak then.
