haha the testman is down hahaha thanks to everyone bashing vzwoffers on twitter for their hard work! get ready for the 2nd wave verizon!!

I ask about the N1, and he has no clue whatsoever. So we start talking about other stuff, corp discounts. As we get to his computer and starts looking up stuff, I say "So I read on some website the Incredible will be out in 2 weeks."

Immediately he says no. Then he says "There is a new HTC phone coming this month with an 8mp camera. My district manager was telling me it was really cool. But it's not the Incredible."

So when is that coming out? "This month."

So, FWIW...
Perhaps us going into the Verizon stores asking about the Incredible... really means they know nothing, and that's a name of an upcoming summer phone, and our "Incredible" is named something completely different.

A HTC phone undergoing a name change before launch? Surely you jest? Yep, some sarcasm. The Eris was the Desire which is now a new phone coming out to Europe. The EVO was the supersonic until CTIA. Wouldn't surprise me if the Incredible changed its name.

Didn't say I bought it. Was just saying it was interesting.
Out of no where he comes out with 8mp camera from HTC...

Who knows... I'm grasping at straws here:)

I decided I am holding out for the Evo. I'm on ATT with a tronzberry and I wanted a better carrier and a solid android phone but didn't want the Droid. At this rate, I am better off just waiting for the EVO since Sprint is pretty good in the places I live and visit. It will also be a lot cheaper plan wise than Verizon. Oh well, I had fun following this mess while it lasted.

Hey Joe I see you have your Iphone there...that's nothing, check out my HTC Pile of Crap. Joe: Oh you mean the Touch? No really it's an incredible phone!
 
Ok an Update for you guys here.....first the Incredable will be released this month. Testers are to get thier devices this week at somepoint. As long as everythiing is ok. we'll see the release..

on the N1.....still look for June and look for the $200 price point. Though sadly it will still only available online.........hope this helps

Folks, please do your best to stay on topic...we're drifting a bit too far away as far as i'm concerned and i politely ask any interesting topics that inspire a few members and find something in common to take it to PM (eg. guns). I'm as much of a fan as the next person (XD, Remi 870, AR-15, Nighthawk, Kimber, CZ-75, G36, etc...all in my personal collection) but this thread isn't the place to continue the conversation.

Btw, i'm only pointing out this example because it's the most recent, however, the last 30 pages contain plenty of other way off topic convo so please do your best to stay on topic or another thread closing and evaluation will be necessary.

So I read that thread .. so "Testers" test them for a while. .. then they are tested again by some "Verizon Customer Council"???

Is this factual? anyone?

Not scary at all. Well prepared maybe. The M1 was handed down from my grandfather, and is in beautiful shape. The rest I have acquired over several years. Just an enthusiast I guess. I like to go to the range but it has been quite a while.

On Topic: They are all Incredible!
 
What functions/apps are you all eager to use once you have the Incredible? I look forward to using Google Navigation and surfing the web, facebooking etc.
