I just peed myselfAlright, heres even more info, facts, and clarification.
The test device for the HTC Incredible is going to the VZW Council. Apparently, phones get sent to them for testing BEFORE!!! release. The VZW council should be getting them anytime this week and release will be very very very soon after.
Interesting note, the VZW iPhone is looking to come sometime in the SUMMER, much earlier than the expected end of the year december date.
This is all from an Admin who has never failed and gets these memo's etc...about the devices before any of us and before they are released.
He said from a message two months ago that VZW wanted to sell the Nexus One in-store but google said no. Then the HTC Incredible came along and VZW went with that phone instead so they could sell it in-store.
Anyhows, looks like confirmation that the phone is coming this month. He said he will give me a date when he gets more info but all he knows is that final test devices are being given to VZW council sometime this week and the N1 is coming in June.

nav, skymap, camera, camcorder, games, music, phone, email, bacebook, contacts (sense), footprints, pandora, web browser... I can go on.... there's so much I've been waiting to do that just not even worth trying on my pearlWhat functions/apps are you all eager to use once you have the Incredible? I look forward to using Google Navigation and surfing the web, facebooking etc.
Has anyone here come close to the 5GB cap? If so what were you doing daily to reach that? Just want to know how worried I should be about going over. Seems like it would take a lot though. Thanks.
I can't wait.
I already know what apps I want. There are so many out there too. I know this from my brothers moto droid.
is it true that verizon has a 5GB download limit? i can't imagine dl'ing that much on a phone but you never know i guess. Streaming netflix can use that up pretty quick.
This'll be my first smartphone, so I have no idea, but even if Verizon has a 5 GB download limit, that limit wouldn't have any affect on you as long as you downloaded the apps while connected through Wifi instead of using Verizon's network. That's just a guess, or an assumption, so TIFWIT![]()
Somehow, I don't think "Jonathan" is his real name... Still trying not to pull the trigger and just leave Verizon once and for all.
...on the N1.....still look for June and look for the $200 price point. Though sadly it will still only available online.........hope this helps

I hit about 2.5 GB once. I did that by tethering my HTC Touch to my laptop and watching a bit of Hulu. IMO, you'd really have to try to hit the 5 GB cap on the phone alone, but once you tether (legally or not), but it's not hard at all if you tether.Has anyone here come close to the 5GB cap? If so what were you doing daily to reach that? Just want to know how worried I should be about going over. Seems like it would take a lot though. Thanks.
