Oh wow...Just woke up from a nap. No doubt now I will be awake all night. Oh well.

At least I have plenty of cyber deals to keep me company!
 
Ugh. I'm very happy for my cousin and her engagement and the fact that they want a spring wedding but today is just not the day I want to be listening to this stuff.
 
Huh. I think my desktop is dead. May be a PSU issue. Was doing some moving around, the case got dinged pretty hard a couple times, so that may have done it. I guess I will just pull the hard drives and from there, I don't know.

Bum deal!! There are some hot PSU deals hitting the websites now, including Amazon and Newegg. And we got cyber Monday coming up, so you might be able to snag a cheap replacement PSU.

This is true, I know they had a ton. Problem is, it's out in NoVa (Norther Virginia to those not "in the loop" ;)) and we hate driving out there unless necessary. Wife went twice last weekend and we went for T-day so it's getting a little tiring. :o
We'll get some sort of brunch later this morning. :)
 
Afternoon all :)

Still thinking about what I want to do about the desktop. It powers up, but shuts down shortly after POST. I did notice a bent USB cable (the actual plug) where the cable snagged while moving the tower. I think I am just going to call the box toast, pull the drives and find something else.

Honestly, I am leaning toward the new Mac Mini (I know, I know, I hate apples business practices, but the mini offers a footprint and features I am interested in) Though, I am not 100% sure yet.
 
Trying to get rid of me, eh? :)

As I said, I am not 100% sure. I may go in another direction. I do have windows 8 pro laying around waiting to be installed (possible VM)
