Viper - Any idea if 1300 MaH Battery is confirmed?
or 720p recording?

Didn't see either of those things yet, sorry.

Any idea if the Incredible will have the same PenTile pixel configuration as the Nexus One?

Not a freaking clue :D

Meh, I simply don't care and post what I feel like. Sometimes I get a laugh, sometimes I don't. More to the point, 95% of the crap I post here is just screwing around and not serious; some people can take it, some can't.

I know what its like to have people come to you crying about anything and everything, I've done my time in retail. I deal with end users crying all day about issues they caused and yet how its "ITs fault."

When it comes to Verizon, most of the time I'm totally satisfied with my call quality and data availability, and believe it or not, I'll defend big red any day of the year against any other carrier as far as service goes.

When it comes to the retail staff and 90% of the call center staff for the wireless division...Damn; there needs to be some better QC for training, hiring, and performance readiness appraisals before they are allowed on the floor/phone.

The Verizon business side, 100% solid platinum support every day when I'm dealing with them for DMARC additions, changes, ect. They have their stuff together.

Unfortunately, Verizon outsources some of their call centers. Now, it's not like India outsourcing, but it's handled in the States, but not through VzW directly. Plus, even if you call and get a VzW Call Center, some people are just there for a job and don't give a crap about what they actually do. It's a shame, I know, but that's how it is. Sometimes, that's why you might not get the right information all the time.

so we found out again that the phone release is still coming out. everyone just says 2 weeks or end of april or whatever. same info being repeated over and over. i just wish there was an actual date!

OK, I'm sorry but this BS. You can't tell if we're tethering without a tethering plan without invading the user's privacy and violating numerous parts of the contract. If you want to get technical I will. The methods by which a user can tether without a tethering plan are extremely effective and look no different than other traffic on a network.

You have no way of telling this without completely violating the Verizon contract agreement. I call BS.

Sure, if you say so.

When I look at an account, I can easily see your data, message, and minute usage broken down into detail. Ex. who you called, who called you, who texted you, how much data you used in a particular session, where you visited during that data session, what tower(s) you were on. Trust me, it violates nothing and if I cared to look and see if you were tethering, I could. I don't care to.

Nothing you mentioned there would even BEGIN to tell you I was tethering. The ONLY thing you could see is if I was using a large amount of data which might hint at tethering but nothing else. You couldn't tell if I was using a proxy server, if the USB cable was connected, or what version of a page I was viewing. You'd have to have a packet sniffer and check every person's traffic. Highly illegal, crazy amount of overhead, and exactly what you're not doing.

So no. You can't tell if I'm tethering. Verizon employees aren't magical. Please don't embarrass yourself. You genuinely seem like an intelligent person in many posts, but not in this case.

I won't argue with you. Think what you want :)

I can't wait.

I already know what apps I want. There are so many out there too. I know this from my brothers moto droid.

is it true that verizon has a 5GB download limit? i can't imagine dl'ing that much on a phone but you never know i guess. Streaming netflix can use that up pretty quick.

5 GB is for netbooks, USB modems, and tethering. Data on your phone is truly unlimited :)

hmmmm
just tried to check the info manager site and seems they have changed it

Your Session Has Timed Out.

Please Login To EROES...

Also if anyone follows the testman site- I am not getting any graphics on the login page.
( just fyi - dont think it means anything as we have already discussed)

Do I get the first phone out if I have the oldest NE2 date? Well I probably won't use my NE2 with this phone either. I switch phones about 3 to 5 times a year so I can't get locked into a contract.

Sorry, but my mom wins the oldest NE2 date battle. ;)

Viper - what is the testman site actually for? I personally think it is to keep us occupied looking for leaks ha ha -jk

1300 mAh is confirmed because thats what was passed through the FCC. It cannot change unless HTC refiles another report for a completely different battery for the phone. No if's, and's, or but's about it.
