I Thought Apple Was Finished

On the other hand, Samsung have added the iPad 4 and iPad Mini to their patent suit. Bad as each other really.

At least in the UK the judges have sense though :p.

I'm kinda in the middle here, because I own stock in Apple. I own stock in apple, because I knew it would perform, not because I like their products. I bought stock at 114/share, and it's now at $571/share... I hope people keep buying Apple so my stock goes up, but You couldn't pay me to own an Iphone...

So how does it feel dropping from 720 to 571...? I mean you didn't loose much consider the fact you bought em at 114..

It was a bummer to lose that much, but As far as I'm concerned, as long as I stay above purchase price, I'm happy.

i'm still saving for that one killer Android tablet that will put my ipad 3 to shame. don't get me wrong i do like my ipad 3 but i like Android's level of customization, easier to root, plus i am sick of my iPad saying it's 'out of space' with over 2GB remaining.

bad news? there is no Android competitor to the Retina display. i have looked at the higher end tablets but they have only better resolution, i can still see pixels! i got spoiled. the iPad 3 is the only reason constant tablet use no longer gives me migraines. secondly, comparable tablets on the Android side are twice the cost or at least higher priced than the iPad 3. iPad 3 is $499 here but the same on Android (specs wise, Jelly Bean-equipped) is like $699; thought only Apple overpriced their stuff.

I like how the trial is set for over a year from now, considering the S4, the S4 mini, Note 3, and probably new tablets will be released before then...

By the time this suit goes through, new devices will be out and the S3 will be dust in the wind...

Reasons why these continuous suits are pointless

Apple takes smartphone top spot from Google in U.S. - research

HELSINKI (Reuters) - Early success for the iPhone 5 smartphone has helped Apple to overtake Google's Android software in the United States, research firm Kantar WorldPanel said on Tuesday.

Apple's U.S. market share in the 12 weeks to October 31 more than doubled from a year ago to 48.1 percent, putting it within reach of the record 49.3 percent it managed in early 2012.

Android's share dropped to 46.7 percent from 63.3 percent, Kantar WorldPanel's data showed, but it continues to dominate in key European markets. The platform 74 percent market share in Germany and 82 percent in Spain.

Its combined share of the top five European markets rose to 64 percent, from 51 percent a year earlier, while Apple's share edged up by one percentage point to 21 percent.
Maybe the Mayans were right after all...

Apple not suing someone would be a miracle but i believe we will never see that day unless they go bankrupt. We should just sit back and laugh as apple take each case to country after country until someone agrees with them. E.G the last law suit.

Im 100 percent sure the Nexus 10 has a higher PPI (pixels per inch) than the i pad 3. So i believe you have just found the android tab you were looking for. ;)

If I wanted to pay $200 more on it than the iPad costs sure, its going to sell over $699 here. That is more than the iPad cost me. The nexus 7 still carries a $599 price tag here

Apple sells more the same reason sales of the Nintendo wii sold higher then the PlayStation 3 and Xbox consoles did. People seem to be attracted to dumbed down hardware, UI and kiddy stuff.

I think Apple will be finished when they are bankrupt. They no longer innovate, so all they have left is to sue innovators.

They will go downhill toward bankruptcy just like the last time they were without Steve Jobs. The diffence is this time they have a ton of money and a lot of lemmings that mindlessly buy anything they sell right now.

Apple will never stop.
They are the Borg.
You will be assimilated by lawsuit.
Resistance is futile.

Anyway, that was a poorly written article. :)

I like the part about the Mayans. :)
