Root [DEV] HTC One V Sense 4 Port

I have a one V actually...

The One V is a sturdy phone.

This is cool, though. I'll see if I can figure out anything with it..

You should compare them and see lol

One bug though is that long press Home doesn't bring up the Recent Apps.......

Kinda the Reason I like the One V is that it has the AOSP Recent Apps

I could always make a it a mod for our port of Sense 4 but I never use it anyway
 
Yeah, that was what I wanted to do. I just need to run an RUU on it so it's stock again...

Then I'll pull the system and see if I can notice differences between the two..

The One V is sturdy though...and has a nice camera...little laggy but nothing too shabby...

I'm probably gonna end up making a Mod for my bro's One V So I'll be able to mess with it a bit and see what performance boost i can give the One V

More or less, it's a bloatware issue...

Oh, by the way there is a slight issue...

Where you recieve a text but don't get a notification. Just so you know ahead of time. Though I think there was a recent update...so I dunno...

On the One V or on this ROM?

I included the One V's OTA fix in the Rom

I couldn't check Calling/Texting or Data so someone else will have to verify....... But it should work as well as MMS and 3D video playback

Keep in mind this isn't meant to be a daily driver since it has Resolution issues

Alright alright, so until the resolution issue can be fixed it shouldn't really be used as a daily driver but a one time thing?
 
Well if the resolution doesn't bother you, and everything works to how you like it, its fine ;)

Well yeah definitely try it out....... I do have a theory on how I can fix the Res so when I get time I'll have to test it out

What if we frankenstein'd this ROM?

Replace certain driver files with Evo V ones, and whatnot...

lol I've done that to get all of our features working I think replacing hdpi pngs in the Apks with the ones from the HTC One S will fix the Resolution ...........

It might work or not but its worth a shot since we can get some real performance outta this Rom (EX:600+MB Free Ram) I'll have time to experiment later this week

Let me know if you need a few testers ;) I'd love to give a One V ROM a whirl on this bad boy. 600+MB of ram free? Winning.
 
Power Kernel + This = holy crap, batman.

While on the topic of Power Kernel....does that support SWAP? I meant to ask you that earlier...
