I was thinking about that myself but it be more difficult then this port............

If this Port comes out a success i'll probably give Sense 4.5 Jelly Bean a shot
 
Is this for the one v or evo v 4g ?cause I would love to test this rom out I ALWAYS want a sense 4.0 rom with everything working and on the camera does it have burst shot and slow mo video recording and all the other features that have on sense 4.0?

this is a rough port of the one v for the evo v 4g... though i haven't played with it yet, i doubt everything works.. resolution is off too since both phone screens have diff dimensions..
 
Yeah, I wasn't sure if you had 4G working or not. I don't get 4G where I live. So....xD I can't confirm/deny that part..

Thank you for the respond and okay i really like the camera feature on sense 4.0 this thread should.be organized it should tell what features works and what not and he should put tweaks and mods for this soo it can be a daily rom I really appreciate his hard work on this rom

This Rom is still in its developmental stage if it becomes an official rom i'll be happy to update this thread but not in its current state

One bug though is that long press Home doesn't bring up the Recent Apps.......

Kinda the Reason I like the One V is that it has the AOSP Recent Apps

I could always make a it a mod for our port of Sense 4 but I never use it anyway

I went to the One V when I toasted the GPU on my Evo V 4G attempting to "swap parts" from the stock black housing to a white Evo 3D housing I got on eBay...The One V is a sweet phone...Especially @$49.99 on Cyber Monday....

Anyway, the stock key mapping is as follows:

  • Menu -> recent apps
  • long press Menu -> app menu
  • Home -> home screen
  • long press Home -> <no action>
There is a One V ROM that has managed to re-map the buttons to the more traditional mappings...JmzOneV Rom...Have a look at that and see what is different...


I bought a replacement EVO V 4G while it was discounted on Cyber Monday. Soon, I'll give this ROM a whirl...
 
Sweet, I also bought my bro a one v this cyber Monday to step him up from my old op v, so does this mean you have a version of the stock one v Rom for the evo v? I know there aren't too many roms out for it yet

People actually go and get Chinese? In my little town there's probably a dozen different restaurants that'll deliver for free any order over $10. This is probably the most off topic post that I've ever made. :rolleyes:

Back on topic, unfortunately no because that's more a function of the sensor chips used in the One series as opposed to just being a Sense mod.

I felt like going for a drive that day, as I was kind of cranky :P

on topic: Hey I just got an idea. I mean, the obvious resolution issue. I'm using Viper3D which is sense 4.1....Perhaps there could be some clues in there as to what we need to do?
