Lurker
Alright, here's my situation. I've had my phone rooted but S-On for sometime now (actually since I first bought it I rooted it as soon as I got home). I decided I wanted to make the jump to S-Off, which I was scared to do but I grew some balls and went for it. Now my phones screwed up.
First time I ran RUU I received an Error [155] which was because my phone was still unlocked. I ran
[HIGH]fastboot oem lock[/HIGH]and it fixed that error and now my Fastboot displays
[HIGH]*** RELOCKED ***
*** Security Warning ***
[/HIGH]at the top.
So I ran RUU again and it gave me an Error [140] which to my understanding means that my bootloader needs downgraded or something. I'm currently on HBOOT-1.57.0000. My problem is, everything I've read says you need to be S-Off to downgrade the HBOOT. So what do I do now?
