Yes I have the $15 on my Samsung Glyde as well .... one big difference on a good smartphone is you will be able to load web pages in a flash .. where as the dumbphones really arent worth $15 if you ask me ... they are sooo slow it really comes down to if you absolutely have to get on the internet for something

I'll pay $30 if it means I will actually use it like a small computer

A data plan for an HTML browsing device such as the Dare is $9.99 now, tho "technically" not unlimited data, its very rare for a user to go over. 10 < 15. :)

As this will be my first smart phone, I know I'll be happy. It'll do more than I need.

That said, it may spark a bug in me, and I'll wanna get something bigger/better. But EVO vs. INC - I'll take the Incredible.

to get my business, apple would have to re-do the entire iPhone OS, it's so dang bland and boring, especially in comparison to Android, (which IMO) is way more aesthetic and eye-pleasing.

Yeah but i'm saying that it won't be obsolete for a while if it get's timely upgrades, and plus 2.1 is still the latest build there is. it won't be obsolete spec wise probably until fall/winter 2010 unless the new iphone is groundbreaking which I'm speculating it's not.
So i say stop complaining about it going obsolete and better phones coming out, because from what i see there is no phone that we now about that would clearly beat this phone

I like devices with larger rather than smaller touch-screens. The EVO is tempting from that perspective. I want the phone to be convenient to "pocket" but I am a guy with large fingers and larger screens tend to work well for me.

If all other things were equal inside the device, I'd get the Moto Droid over the Eris, for screen size alone. Even though its larger, thicker and clunkier (and I would not use the physical keyboard).

I am hoping the Incredible will be like the last bowl of porridge for Red Riding Hood and be "just right." ;)

I would think it's big enough from the pictures i see when people are comparing the nexus one screen size which is the same size

My NE2 is tomorrow.. been drooling over this phone for months now like most here, and been lurking this thread for a couple days.

cincybearcat, hope u're right, hoping your regional manager is right. man i'm dying down here. my XV6800 is the biggest piece of trash ever.. even with WinMo 6.5 on it it sucks balls. Keyboard don't work for shit, so i can't text on it. which is what i use to use my phone for... what good is a full keyboard if u can't use the damn thing?

I have some news that can collaborate the "end of the month" time-frame for the release date... and no, it doesn't involve a box! I'm in the process of piecing my information together as we speak... bear with me. The next post will have what I have been able to find out.... I wanted to preface the coming post by saying that I am now 100% convinced that our phone WILL BE released THIS month! Things are looking good, people!!! :)

Really? Aside from the somewhat OT posts from time to time, I thought the thread was doing pretty well the last couple days.

Who is reporting all these posts? lol

There haven't been any fights, maybe a couple minor disagreements, but Hey, after how bad it has gotten on here at times, this is pretty corgial.

We may actually have a release date now, the 29th, so you mods can count down the days until you are rid of this ridiculous thread!! :rolleyes:

Rejoice, light at the end of the tunnel (even if it is probably a mirage, right now ignorance is bliss)
