What is King Kang?​

King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.

What is the future going to be like for King Kang?​

Currently, it is heavily rooted in AOKP as its main base. As the ROM progresses, it will grow and extend its functionality. How do I install King Kang?​

• Download the ROM from the box below
• Download the Google gapps from the box below
• Reboot into your recovery (TWRP is recommended)
• Wipe data if you are coming from a ROM besides King Kang
• Flash the King Kang ROM zip
• Flash the Google Apps zip
• Format your dalvik cache/normal cache
• Reboot
• Customize your experience to your heart's content!

Gapps for Jellybean (4.1.2/CM10) should work perfectly, cant promise if 4.2 works

Information​

Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.
This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.

cmon man have you seen my work? im not a fan of having crappy stuff out there. at least not without a label of it being crappy and not working

afaik this rom is working fully, n4zty is my faithful tester and he said all the core stuff is working, hes running thru the dpi settings now im getting screenshots from him while in phablet mode

no this is 4.1.2, 4.2 gapps might work but i cant garuntee it, sorry i c&p their OP and edited it didnt think about teh gapps reference

while you cant get true touchwiz on aosp based roms there is a touchwiz launcher you could use.

also i apologize to everyones wives/girlfriends for ruining their nights. i was bored and wanted to do another rom, ill try to make sure it doesnt happen again ;P

no aosp roms will NEVER have sbeam. they use android beam to transfer stuff

i plan on doing a nice touchwiz ics rom when i get the phone. cant do jellybean as you guys dont have it, the phones that do have it are based on leaked builds

and wifi direct is not possible its a licsensing issue, if i did i could be sued

Ok this ROM is working flawless for me I've MMS Mikey and he's gotten my pics um let's see the ui interface works great it changes modes flawlessly keep in mind every change requires a reboot. The tablet mode and phablet mode looks a lil strange that's because I didn't bother changing icon size. It does have some presets preloaded for each mode so that's cool. Other cool stuff? I guess I'm still playing with it but since shabby released this early I'm sure ya won't have any prob finding new features post back any findings!!!

For any new comers that wanna try this ROM back up current ROM then wipe/factory data reset then install this ROM and flash gapps then wipe cache/dalvik and reboot!
