Help Accuweather hijacked my home button?

My "Home" button on my galaxy note is like it's hijacked. Every time I click on it, it goes to a screen that has an accuweather widgit on it! I have to click the "X" button in the top right corner to get back to my phone. Next time I click the home button, it's goes right back to that screen! I have tried rebooting and pulling the battery, nothing fixes it. I also have accuweather uninstalled, so i don't even know where it's coming from.
It used to be, I click the home button, and it goes to my normal home screen. Now it's like some special home screen that is incredibly annoying. Frusterating each time I use the hone.
Anyone have any clue how to fix this/what would have caused this?

That's probably your listed as your #1 home screen. Every time you press the home button, your phone automatically returns to home screen #1. Try changing the order of your home screens and see if that works.

Or.....you can go into the overview page where it shows you all your home screens on one page and just delete that one home page?
 
That's the craziest part... it is NOT one of my home screens! I don't know where that screen came from, but it is nothing I made, and it is not one of my home screens!

so when u pinch ur home screen and all ur screens show, this one doesnt!?

Well, the picture you are showing in your opening post is that of the home dock. When the home dock is activated, it looks exactly like your screenshot including the Accuweather app. So that app is supposed to be there. Now, all you need to find out is why is it being activated? Do you have your phone up against a magnet or sitting in one of the Samsung charging docks.
 
Hmmm... interesting. So it is thinking it's in a docking station? No... I don't have a docking station, and I know of nothing magnetic it is around. It is sitting on my desk, same as it has been for a year now. Is there a way to shut off "docking mode" all together maybe? I don't have a docking station for it.

Yes, you can turn docking mode off by going into settings, system and then Accessory and then uncheck "Desk home Display Screen". That should do it I would think.

What do you mean it has been sitting on your desk for a year? This phone has only been out for a couple of months now????

Its not a button....it is a sub-menu under settings. Note II or not, there must be a setting there somehwere since that screen you are showing is in fact the dock screen. I would suggest if you can't figure it out from here that you take this discussion thread over to the Note forum since you are in the forum for Note II users. You may have more luck over there in finding out your answer.
