ANY Verizon employees or people in the know out there: My wife's upgrade date is in December and mine is in February. Do you think that Verizon would let my wife upgrade her dumb phone now, so that in the future, we will be able to take advantage of BOGO offers next upgrade?

As far as I know if you have a 1 year contract you can at 10 months and at 20 months with a 2 year with a discount

Agreed. It looks like a quick and dirty internal piece designed [poorly] to jack up the sales staff and make them feel like there's an end in sight to the constant stream of guys coming into the store knowing more about soon-to-be-released phones than they do.

The BOGO only applies to eligible lines, so wait, don't upgrade and when you are eligible you can take advantage of it. If you do it now, she would be under contract and you wouldn't get the BOGO deal.
