Yeah, when I worked at Best Buy 99% of the time training materials came in black and white booklets, but every so often a "big deal" product would be released and Best would put out training materials not too much different than this to "hype" the staff.

this is getting too intense, i am about to go get a droid to play with for a few weeks. i am getting more and more sure it will be here by the 29th so i will be able to exchange it. i assume that authorized retailers will get new devices such as this one the same time as a corporate store, is that correct? i for one believe kappy is telling the truth.

Because most of the pics leaked in here were faked, although i have no reason to doubt Kappy. If the picture is in fact a photoshop job, well I don't think Kappy is trying to pull one over on us. He's just posting what he really believes to be true so I can't fault him for that.

Yeah but BGR's looks like its contained within an email, and with my experience in retail, I'm siding with good ol' Kappy that this is legit.

Kappy, the only forum member I can think of that you would 100% believe is NKT. If he sent this then maybe he's pulling your chain. If not then they need to seriously hire a new design/ad team!
I won't pass judgment on any member here, but there are several guys that love to blow smoke up everybody's @$$ and make themselves "appear" important. He just wasn't very good at it and got caught several times, and then people on here had a hayday slamming the guy, (deserved or not..).
He never did try the box story though...
That's fine, but jumping to the conclusion that its a $1m ad shop campaign piece was just dead wrong. There's no way its that. So what is it?
It looked to me like an in-house kid's quick & dirty internal 'jack up the sales force' piece, and that's exactly what Armbar's source said it was.
Scrutiny and skepticism are essential, but a conspiracy should not be the FIRST thing you look for. That's exactly the mindset that has poisoned politics in this country.

I'm sure there are plenty of VZW people waiting on this phone as well. Not saying that this explicitly means the Incredible is coming, but it's too coincidental given the recent Best Buy info.
can someone confirm VZW policy -- that if I get a Droid in the next few days I can exchange it within X days to get the Incredible?
also -- any info re pricing on the product? I've seen posts about potential availability at Best Buy -- what about Walmart where you can currently get a Droid for $19 or actually make $50 if you want an Eris?
