Sigh... two weeks. Actually, the 25th/29th timeframe would peg it to three weeks.
Tick tock.
Sigh.
I think that is when in is supposed to show up at Best Buy. We are hoping we see it VZW stores sooner.

K, I received the e-mail. There isn't anything new to post. Also, it would say the internal thing seems about right. I don't know how this stuff works, I'm just posting what was sent to me.
No doubt, didnt say I had doubt.
Was just amazed at how fast it was on BGR.
Next PhotoShop update should have a watermark feature so you know real photos from photoshoped photos
Can you post the email Kappy?
I hope I'm not alone in asking what the heck BGR is.
Depending what part of rural America your in, you may not see LTE until the project has been fully deployed in what, 2012-2013? I can't remember so don't shoot if I was wrong on the dates. From my understanding though, the LTE footprint will cover the entire existing Verizon map, if not more. A 2 yr deal might not bog you down when LTE hits your area. At the very least a 1yr upgrade price should be available when time comes.Looking past the Incredible to the next phones that will run on the LTE network - what will be the smartest/cheapest way to buy an Incredible when it comes out (as primary line on a family plan, NE2 eligible 1/10)? I'm in a rural area, should I assume that a 2 year contract won't tie me down for too long?
can someone confirm VZW policy -- that if I get a Droid in the next few days I can exchange it within X days to get the Incredible?
also -- any info re pricing on the product? I've seen posts about potential availability at Best Buy -- what about Walmart where you can currently get a Droid for $19 or actually make $50 if you want an Eris?

There is nothing. All it said was "here it is" and has an attached file, and that is the file. If I post the e-mail it will give the sender, can't do that.
It also was NOT FWD to me, so I don't know who the original sender was. This was sent to a member on this forum who sent it to me.
I believe you, Kappy. Thanks for the update. Not *every* photo that comes through here is photo shopped. Most users have been good about noting if the photo they posted was photo shopped. A few haven't. Kappy has never given us a reason to believe he is one of the ones that would try to trick us. Think about it this way, he likes to be on these forums joking around. Playing a joke like this would tick people off and he would meet hostility here. Then what would he do? We all know he has no life aside from this forum.![]()

I'm not even playing, even though most of you think I will. A select few know that I'm not![]()

It all varies from phone to phone when it comes to when best buy will get it. One of the reasons why the verizon stores get the phone first is to get a head start in selling their phones first before an authorized retailer will do so. Case in point its very hard to compete with BBY when there are absolutely no mail in rebates so if the Incredible goes for 199.99 the verizon store may have it for that price but after a 50 dollar mail in rebate. Where as in the BBY Mobile store the phone is 199.99 at the time of purchase. BBY Mobile can do almost everything a verizon store can do minus the Verizon VIP program. That is a special program that verizon has that rewards customers. The qualifications are as follows, have a plan that is a minimum of $70 a month, have an auto pay set up every month, and have a good outstanding account with no late payments for a minimum of 6 months. The reward for the customer then is getting a new phone every year for the 2 year upgrade price plus an additional $50 off the phone. For family plans the the primary line is the only eligible line. BBY Mobile does not match that since it is a program offered directly through verizon. I would know this since i am a VIP member and I could not use that discount at my BBY Mobile store i had to go to a verizon store to get the discount when i bought my blackberry tour. You have 30 days to return the phone or exchange it out, you can opt to get the verizon tec insurance plan as well as Best Buys branded insurance plan (i wont get into the details of the pros and cons of each plan). You can also use the reward zone card to tally points as well as use reward zone certificates to purchase the phone. Verizon and Best Buy have an agreement with the pricing and the pricing fluctuates from week to week at Best Buy Mobile, sometimes its a lot cheaper at Best Buy and sometimes its better at Verizon. Plain and simple the big advantage is no mail in rebates PERIOD. Best Buy Mobile can do almost everything a verizon store can do.
Second i can guarantee the photos posted are not photo shopped at all they are real screen shots hence why i took a photo with my phone and did not print out a screen shot and then scanned it because i knew i would hear foul play. If MM source is correct that it is in the planogram on the 25 i will check tom at work and see if it holds water. I am not in any way affiliated with MM but its rather discouraging for me to try and find more information when people cry foul saying its a photo shopped picture and MM basically repeats what i said earlier about the in stock date as well as the availability and then comes out saying he found out earlier about this from his source but yet didnt post any of that information until the photos were leaked.
Ill find out tom if MM source is correct or not
Although Kappy is one of the few I would believe on here, this so called Ad I find hard to believe only because it plays on everything that's been discussed here.
I have a really hard time believing that VZW's marketing department came up with that image based on what has been going on here.
(am I just missing something here).
I WANT TO BELIEVE YOU KAPPY but my gut just said BS!
You have to take into consideration it isn't just these forums...We represent a small percent of individuals who want this device. Think of the countless thousands that go into Verizon stores who don't post here asking over and over and over again about this device. I promise you, those kinds of requests are being passed up the chain and Sr. management is hearing about it. This kind of internal promo isn't far fetched at all.Although Kappy is one of the few I would believe on here, this so called Ad I find hard to believe only because it plays on everything that's been discussed here.

From my discussions with the network installers, this isn't going to be the kind of deployment that they place in a few major cities at once. They have been upgrading all of the data nodes over the last year so this will really just be upgrading every tower in 3rds of the country and moving across the nation, overlapping Verizon's current coverage.I doubt they will roll lte to rural areas before 2 years, so u should be fine.
