Yesterday's info implied that pre-sales may go on before then. Maybe we will see an announcement soon.

Do you have an opinion on the EVO vs. the Incredible... all things considered (device, network)?

Just curious.

The point is, as far as I am concerned, is we all know that Kappy is very trustworthy. Whether or not it is real, he is just PASSING ALONG an image. For me, his trustworthiness is not in doubt.

The Evo is a hot piece of kit, no doubt about it. It remains to be seen how well it performs in the real world as far as WiMax goes. So really, you just need to look at specs.

I don't see anything there that would keep me from getting the Incredible. That's just my personal opinion. I'm sure there are people that NEED the 4.3" screen and like to say their phone is 4G...:rolleyes:
 
This ad could simple be something thrown together to ease the pain for all of the VZ reps that are getting hounded daily. Now they can tell customers "we've gotten an internal message saying new devices are coming soon." Its better than reps giving customers the blank stare like you just propositioned them for cheap sex.

Even if they try to give you crap have them call Assurion and see if they will let you add it. I've had to do this several times for company phones and have learned as long as youre willing to pay the premium Assurion will add you. Just make sure it's within 15 days of you purchasing it.

I purchased the new verizon MiFi from an individual and when I activated it, I was able to purchase insurance.

Like I said I believe Kappy and NKT and I'd like to believe that was an internal thing sent to employees. If it didn't play on the things that have been on this forum I would totally believe it but the fact that it says REALLY SOON and as an F'n Box flyin out of it just makes me wonder.

As far as Sprint's network is concerned, I'm 2 days into my little test of their service using the HTC Hero, and everywhere I've been, from work to home, so have they.

Well Kappy if NKT sent that pic too you...I believe it to be true...if he didn't send it...I am not sure if I believe it.

:rolleyes: I thought their was text in the body of the e-mail, which is why I asked. That picture tells me we'll hear something before the 25th for sure - possibly next week.
 
NKT. When the Incredible gets announced is there any chance you'll be able to hit up one of your tester friends to get more hands on time and/or photos to share with us? I'm just wondering if the announcement will lift the 'veil of secrecy', of if we'll have to wait for the release date.

Apple's next OS unveiling is tomorrow. Microsoft's pink unveiling is Tuesday. I wouldn't be surprised if any weekday between this friday and next friday had something for us. Companies seem to group together press releases/news conferences to either piggyback (announce partnerships) or steal thunder.

There is a world beyond this forum. Call Verizon (or check there site) and get it from the source rather than relying on 2nd-3rd hand when you don't have to. They'll confirm 30 day return policy, with $35 restocking fee.

I may be able to. But by then I hope there's some official info out there (pics, specs, etc.)

Agreed. And I don't think it's going to take much to steal the Microsoft Pink's thunder. Those things are garbage...

If all things network wise were equal I would probably choose the Evo for the larger screen. However, IMO, Sprint's network is vastly inferior to VZW's. I travel a lot and the best network is crucial to me.

I dont mind paying more for VZWs superior coverage map.

Therefore, the Incredible is the obvious choice.
