I'm drinkin the cool-aid Kappy. I'm no "photo-shop pro" but it looks pretty real to me. Granted it's not marketing to the level of the Droid, but from what the Regional Manager told me yesterday, they aren't planning on promoting the Incredible the same as they did the Droid. They don't need to, now the excitement's already been built for Android on their network. I can TOTALLY see an ad campaign like thins one being released for the new phone. Something like "See what's bursting into our stores this spring".

Then again, maybe I'm naive.

Well Kappy if NKT sent that pic too you...I believe it to be true...if he didn't send it...I am not sure if I believe it.

You put 2 and 2 together and made 4 too huh.....

Recap:

Kappy gets a picture from a source who in his words if you knew you would poo in your pants.

NKT has repeatedly defended the validity of the aforementioned post.

Conclusion: Either NKT was the sender or at the very least NKT has seen the same email.

Would definitely be interested in hearing about the pros and cons of each...:) PM if you think others will not be interested...

I'd also like to hear the pluses and minuses of each. I've looked at them a bit, but haven't heard much from people that have used them, or that know the details.

Cinci eh? I'm a big Brent Celek fan. Cinci puts out some sick athletes.

Apple's next OS unveiling is tomorrow. Microsoft's pink unveiling is Tuesday. I wouldn't be surprised if any weekday between this friday and next fr

Agreed. And I don't think it's going to take much to steal the Microsoft Pink's thunder. Those things are garbage...

have any of your tester contacts performed testing on anything besides the incredible? might help confirm the 6 if more devices are currently in test.

I was thinking about getting an Evo, but then I remembered I've got a wife that thinks Verizon is the be-all-end-all and if I leave big red I'll never hear the end of it.

I know about 2 project pink phones and the incredible. Haven't been hunting for more.

Don't assume that the "6" in the "code name 6" has anything to do with six. The best code names reveal nothing about what they contain.

I may be able to. But by then I hope there's some official info out there (pics, specs, etc.)

Definitely. Hopefully you'll be able to give us a bit of a hands-on review before big sites get them. I imagine there will be plenty of questions on the camera, multi-touch, on-screen buttons, etc. Although at this point, unless it's found that the thing intermittently tazes the user I'm in!

Once again, thanks for all of your work in keeping us as informed as you've been able to!

so if the two pinks and the incredible have been seen in testing, that definitely bodes well. thank you for the info.

Looongggg time lurker here, been following this thread from pretty much day one. I have no inside info or contacts, in fact I fly fish for a living, so I have not had much to contribute. That being said, I have never owned a smartphone of any kind, am on Verizon, and been using this forum to gather info and make my best educated decision on my first smartphone purchase. If the Incredible turns out to be anything close to what we hope it to be :D, it sounds like the way to go for me. So, I have a question for those in the know about purchasing this phone when it comes out. I am up for NE2, but I have been seeing discussion here about Best Buy, Verizon stores, online purchases, etc involving rebates and the like. So what do you think is the best route to go to purchase the Incredible (assuming it is available at all above mentioned places) as far as out the door for the best price, and no mail in rebates?

I've always bought my phones from Corporate stores. IDK just feel better about if anything goes wrong, their customer service is amazing. And I may have my gripes about VZW's device releasing schedule but their customer service has always been Top Notch to me.
