How do people expect advertising to look like, Of course it's going to look photoshopped they're not going to launch a damned box out of a wall just to get a picture, get real. How do you think they make their advertising, using photoshop(or GIMP if their cheap)

Of course it was "Photoshopped" initially. Nobody is on about that, it's the way things are done today. But, IMO, there is no question it was also "Photoshopped" in the other sense of the term. That is to say, it was altered (and pretty crudely so) to at least add the "Really" and the type on the box.

Sorry if I'm a little slow on the uptake here...so after reading a few posts I was hoping someone could clarify something. I am not due for a new every two upgrade but I can do an annual upgrade (It's been 14 months). Does Best Buy allow you to upgrade with contract pricing for an annual upgrade? I have like 90 reward zone dollars that are just sitting there.

It was posted earlier that BB doesn't give promo pricing to annual upgrades, call them and ask!

Seriously? I'm posting this from my iPhone, and I'm more looking forward to selling this thing for $400-500 and THEN using that money to get an Android phone! Might as well make some cash off the next sucker! And I'm on a jailbroken 3Gs with 3.0.1 still on it, so it's actually able to sell for that much!

yes best buy will have an upgrade price on a 2 year contract on the phone i just dont know what the price will be. you can use ur reward zone card.
if you by insurance through best buy or verizon you can cancel at any time too
by friday i should hopefully know more if the phone is launching this month and if it is indeed the incredible

As pointed out in the BGR comments, it says Devices so I'm thinking they really gonna do a super launch....maybe a couple pink phones, isn't that LG Aloha supposed to be coming soon, Saygus V-Phone, maybe Nexus 1, Incredible, Curve 2, Tour 2,...

It's totally dependent on more than price. BB can offer instant rebates sometimes, making out the door costs lower, but in some cases the service you get after the sale may not be what you want. Same can be said for anywhere.
Agent locations set their own pricing so some times you can get good deals, and if you find the right location, your service will be top notch, but again it dependent on location.
Corp stores are more of the same.

Long story short, out the door cost can sometimes cost you...shop around and find a location that you feel comfy with and provides you with the best service.

Anyone feel like offering special Android Forums pricing for the Incredible?

So I am in an area that is having the limited promo that allows dumbphone users to get an early upgrade to any smartphone. I HEARD that promo ends on either 4/30 or 5/1. Either way, if the Inc comes out this month, and I sure as heck hope it does per all the above banter, it will be my phone of choice. If they claim I can't do it, I will use one of my other lines that has been up for renewal since Nov 2007. I've got 2 Corp stores and 2 Agent stores within a few miles of me, so I am going to be doing some serious calling. Thanks to all those who've posted golden nuggets!!!

P.S. I am not a huge pre-release forum fan, but do all phones get this much hype before they come out!?!??!

So this made me think of a question, albeit, a newbe question for sure. If this phone has GPS, and I have a weather app on it that shows me local radar based on GPS, then it would still work in places that did not actually have a wireless signal right? I mean, Verizon is good and all, but even they don't have a signal in a lot of the places I fish, and it would be handy to have a local weather radar when I am out. Lets hope the Incredible can get it done for me!

It very well could not be the incredible but android devices in the inventory system have a bby prefix the droid and eris have that so im thinking that its the incredible or an android device.
And for the hundredth time it is NOT a blackberry if it was blackberry i would say blackberry or RIM

I will find out friday if its the phone or not or if we wer going to do pre sells.
