Memory Card for the Note 2

Looking for a memory card for my note 2. Search didn't bring up anything recent concerning the note 2.

Thinking about adding a 16 G, my question is can I use the micro SDHC card in this unit?

Yes the micro SDHC and the SDXC work, I would make sure to get a class 10 for speed, helps with high def video and what not. here is the one I got:

it has been working great, and I have more than enough room...for now :D

Before making that assumption, I highly suggest reading into some of the discussions that have taken place regarding issues with the Class 10 UHS-1 cards from SanDisk (64gb). Apparently, there were some issues. One of which, has to do with that card not being able to format to FAT32, which would add limitations to the size of the files that are readable from the card.

Quite honestly, I got a little in over my head trying to understand it all. I personally haven't had any problems.

There's a thread somewhere in the Note 2 subforums that discusses the 64gb card.
 
It went over my head as well DrEx so much so that it made me happier to just stick to my 2 32GB class 10 cards.
Nothing should be that problematic.

I'd take the advice given here and read up before plunking down money on a card that may or may not work.
 
Ive had two 32gb SD cards go out on me. One on my S3 and one in my Note2. I went back to my old 16gb and so far no problems. Ordered the 64gb SD card and I hope to not have any problems.
 
I have a SanDisk 16gb that I've had for over a year with no problems. Seems I have bad luck with the 32gb versions.
 
I bought the PNY class 10 16gb professional card for my Galaxy S2 and it worked great on that so when I sold the phone I kept the card for the Note 2, no problems at all and fast.

I have a new card ordered for my wife's Note 2. She has a bunch of media files she'd like on it. Thinking i'd insert it into computer and load files, then load into Note 2 for the firs time after. Think I'll have any issues?

That's the route I went with my Sandisk 64gb card and it worked fine.
