can someone explain why screencast will not work for me? i even tried older versions and still nothing
What happens when you start it up? Do you have usb debugging on?

the app itself works, when i record it works. but when i go to watch the recording, it only shows the setting of screencast as a recording but its a still picture.

No no no, I meant your computer. Windows
, Linux, Mac? But since you didn't know that I'm going to assume windows :/ Do you have dual core computer? Ram? Because it could be your computer isn't encoding the video right. Windows is only useful if you have a strong computer with over 4GB of ram and a bad ass CPU.
I have the feeling this should be moved to a different forum, since this isn't really Motion related...
