Root Port ROMs from other HTC device???

Is the there one that can port some ROMs from from phones like g2 incredible s or a phone with similar specs
 
im starting to do it myself i got some installing but not booting but i figured out what it was a problem with bootstrappath init rc but im still learning how to swap it would be so nice to have help or advice but looks like im on my own huh this thread is a morgue i bought a evo 3d today debating on flashing and if i use my design meid number ill get 4g on it but i kind of like our phone less bulky and lots of potential

I can try to do some things. I gotta do some research.
 
What rom are you porting? Aosp or sense is going to be different but if doing ics use a boot.img from any of our ics roms should boot it. Though without knowing the base I can't help much.
 
Well I'm trying to do a team 420 evo 3d sense 4.1 rom its ics 4.0.3 and I was trying with evil kingdom as base but it has aroma installer which I don't know if it makes a big difference
 
I wanted to use fusion but something was missing when I unzipped I can't remember exactly what it was at the moment but I will post tonight what it was hope everyone is having a merry Christmas or happy holidays of any type
 
Sense 4.0 isn't straight foward to port as is 3.6 or aosp. I've played with porting it where it starts to boot and loops at a permission error if memory serves me right. Which I'm pretty sure I know where it is, was actually meaning to try and figure it out.
