Question is does it flash quicker or take 20 secs to flash?

Camera is definitely much faster then 1.5 as far as loading the app and taking the pic

Lol! I tried to take a photo of my self and the flash messed it up because it was on too long and very bright. I had to close my eyes

I'm sure someone is going to ask, but as reported earlier the few things i've noticed:

No multitouch support
No live wallpapers
Gallery is the same as 1.5

But it does have Google's text to speech which is pretty cool.

How about google maps with turn by turn?...and i take it you meant speech to text?

It does have the newer google maps, actually I had to upgrade it in the marketplace. And speech to text, you hold down the microphone icon on the virtual keyboard and talk, it'll translate your speech to text, pretty cool actually.

Google Googles is also really cool.

i started google nav up and its seems to work, but its impossible to actually test it because im not going anywhere

oh and if anyone asks, it comes with 2 ROM's, DC23 and DD03.. DD03 is the most current one.

DC23 is an older build, I was having issues with it when I was running it, like with the marketplace.

Alright, got DD03 flashed and so far liking it.

One thing I don't like is theres no vibrate when you use virtual keyboard.

there is a vibrate option.. in setting

Edit: phone runs great with it! we'll see, though I think I can live without a custom ROM for the time being... at least we can delete all the bloatware...
