lol I don't think many folks here will have a classic car. But I like cars too, however I'm only 17 and stuck with a decent Nissan Altima. It's got the optional V6 and it pulls real well.
However, if I could chose any classic car to get, I'd get a 1958 Buick and when I get kids, make them clean the grille with a toothbrush as a punishment

Looking at the 2013 GT500's for a new daily driver. Only problem is I know I am going to want to mod that too LOL. However I think I can restrain myself to intake,exhaust,etc. etc., small mods. Will be visiting my Ford dealership soon to get a price and details and options worked out and see how long delivery would take. However I am also interested in the BOSS 302's too. Will have to do some thinking as the GT500 and BOSS are two different animals,

Unfortunately lost all my photos in a house fire many years ago, but when I turned 18 in '78 I bought a mint forest green 1969 Chevelle SS 396 375 hp with deep dish Centerlines in the back with MT street slicks, Crager S/S up front, posi, Hurst shifter and a cowl induction hood. Damn insurance was insane plus I was lucky to get 12 to 15 mpg with Sunoco premium.

I've always had an eye for classic cars, since I was just 5 or 6 years old. I've always thought it would be fun and a lot of work to do a restore, maybe someday it will happen.
We ought to break out a Mustang thread. There are more than a few of us around here.
Wow. Would love to have that/a Cobra. As much as I hate to admit it, I have an '04 V6 - 40th Anniversary (because it was what I could realistically afford at the time). Looking to get a '14 1/2 or '15 - 50th Anniversary huge V8 version of whatever they have planned special. I'm anxiously anticipating something amazing that will be a throwback to the hey-day of muscle cars but in the modern day. Not to mention a Carroll Shelby memorial.
I'll be keeping the 40th as a daily driver and 50th will be kept relatively special.
Years ago I had a 1958-1/2 (as I recall) Triumph TR3. I can't post pics because its photos are in some unopened box in my garage that I haven't unpacked yet...since moving back to CA in 2006. 
It had been painted a light blue, and although blue happens to be my favorite color, it just wasn't RIGHT. I bought the car with the intention of restoring it, including its color, but we were really in no financial condition to do that at the time, so I reluctantly let it go. 
It had a 4-speed manual transmission, convertible top [of course], and drove like a dream. If I close my eyes I can still HEAR its lovely engine as I up-shifted...

I owned a yellow 1967 tr6 for about a year, keeping those webers synced was a nightmare and it would run so ragged if it started raining 2 states away because of the crap Lucas electric system. My favorite foreign cars would be an early 70's Orange Saab Sonnet 3 or my 1972 Charcoal Lotus Europa with right hand drive.

what is that?
English single barrel carbs, fun to sync, you have a single carb for each cylinder instead of an intake manifold. Plus they're more like bike carbs, using needle valves instead of jets and a float.

Ha, those were awesome cars, worked at a high-end mechanics shop 2 yrs in highschool, all he worked on was Lambos, Ferraris, etc. He had customers with collections, one being a MG, I had to bring it to the carwash, funny car, the steering column & wheel were cocked off center a little by design, tiny lil fellar of a car.
My highlight was driving a 77 Detamoso Pantera, 351 Cleveland, yada yada yada, freaking powerhouse, I only cranked it up and pulled it into the shop.
I did get to drive a 38 Anglia with a blown 308 on wheelie bars, that was the coolest job in HS, but he beat up two cops who came to arrest him for battery, handcuffed them to the hyd lifts (8 car garage), raised the lifts with the cops hanging, kidnapped his secretary, cop chase ensued, went to prison, freaking crazy dude, I'd quit before that took place.

My graduating final project in HS was rebuilding a six-pack of these bad boys and remounting them back to their original intake, talk about "not make them like that anymore". I won first place btw.
Really? Wow. My uncle had a red TR6 for many years, and he--and I--loved it. He liked to tinker with it on weekends [he was a physician], but it didn't have any actual problems that I recall. It was mostly stuff like checking its oil, maybe waxing it, whatever, you know, guy stuff with his toy.
I have many favorite foreign cars. Unfortunately, they're all *WILDLY* out of my price range.
As for right hand drive, I think it would be so weird getting used to that, but I suppose it's like anything else, practice makes perfect.

Steering and the pedals weren't that bad but boy let me tell you, left handed shifting took a lot of practice.
