that doesnt tell you what class the cards are. if this thing will be able to shoot 720p vid later i think you might need a relatively high class to be able to shoot properly. secondly i never heard of that company so i dont know what the quality of the cards themselves are like.

Long time lurker. I thought I would chime in about memory cards. About the cheapest I've been able to find is on Amazon. They have the Dane-Elec 16GB microSDHC for $40.99 shipped (from Amazon, not 3rd party). You can get the same card at J&R for about the same price. If you want class 6, you're looking at $60 on up.
Class2
Amazon.com: Dane-Elec 16 GB Class 2 microSDHC Flash Memory Card with SD Adapter DA-2IN1-16G-R: Electronics
Class6
Amazon.com: A-DATA 16 GB Class 6 microSDHC Flash Memory Card AUSDH16GCL6-RA1: Electronics

I looked at the video supported formats, and didn't see HTML5. Why not?

HTML5 is not a video format, it's the updated specification of the language for creating web pages. However, within the spec, is the support for embedded video, such as Ogg and h.264 (perhaps others).

I'm sure there will be plenty of web video goodness on this phone. :)

could u post your additional documents concerning storage for all the naysayers?

I'm not going to say anything about the source but i can write what some other documentation states...

Verbatim:
"8 GB internal memory"

I also have other sources that prove that the phone will ship with:
Battery Door, Product Safety & Warranty Guide, Standar Battery, Getting Started Guide, RF Brochure, Wall/USB Charger

Note: no card mentioned

Also says "Removable Memory - MicroSD (up to 32 GB)" but does not say the phone will come with any card.

Soooo.....in my opinion (read: my 2 cents, likely all its worth)...has 8 GB internal memory, microSD card slot that will take up to 32 GB, no card included with phone.

I'm not sure how other people feel about that, but i have like a dozen "3-in-1" little kits around the house from newegg that are like 4-16 GB or micro, mini, and standard SD used for various other phones, cameras, etc... including the 16GB one in my Droid, so i personally couldn't care less if a card ships with it. They're very cheap...just buy an 8 or 16 now for next to nothing, and in 6-9 months buy a 32 one for the same price...no biggie. Christ, even my digital camera now takes an SDXC card so i'm sure my next phone will have a 2 TB card.

Why shouldn't the phone be called the Incredible.. it sets the trend of every single phone out there today..right? There's nothing greater!

Who cares. is there anyone here that would not get it if it was called the HTC TellMeAboutTheRabbitsAgainGeorge?

Its been confirmed to have 8GB built in. The manual is wrong.
Here at Androidforums, we have a fine selection of hats for your dining pleasure. Please feel free to ask your server for the hat tray and choose one to be prepared to your liking.

But seriously, I want it to have the internal 8GB as much as the next guy, but at this point I think it's REALLY bold to say the manual is wrong. We can only wait and see.

At what point in time do we think Verizon is going to officially announce the Incredible? I don't see how they can continue on much longer pretending it doesn't exist?

I have requested it, but have not received a response. Anybody happen to have an invite to spare :D

I have it (thanks to a member of this forum) but have never been able to figure out where my invites are- If someone can tell me how yo find these I will put them up for grabs.

ditto, show me how to invite and they will flow

So lets try this, when is the documentation from?

I would wait until the 22nd before I started to worry about a lack of announcement.

I have invites to spare. PM me with your email and I'll send you one.

Sisaacs - it would show on the left side of your screen if you had them.

Invites are all gone now.

No word on a multimedia dock like the Droid has? Thanks for the info.

I just checked the Eris manual too and the copyright is mentioned, but not in the Incredible's. This suggests that Incredible does not have Flash Lite.

Yes, Flash 10.1 rocks, due to GPU support for video, but Flash Lite 3.1 (on Eris and Desire) would rock- just like on Desire. I have full Flash 9.4 on my N900, so got used to it for browsing, video and games. Dumping Tmo though, since the coverage sux bad.

Catch for Flash 10.1, it is not planned for release to public until late summer (September most likely).
It's also missing from the Desire's manual and it has flash lite so that pretty much confirms it doesn't matter :p, and the Incredible will have flash lite too.

hmm thats where I thought they would be- so sadly I got Google Voice but no invites- sorry guys:(

again, ditto for me

Support yes, but android 2.1 does not come with Flash 10.1 by default. We're still waiting for Flash 10.1 to make it to Android as far as I know.

BTW, does the Desire manual mention Flash Lite? Not looking good for Incredible in regards to Flash content or simple omission? About 4-5 month wait for 10.1.

I sense strong future interest in rooted Incredible's using Desire roms ;)

11:29AM Wow. Just wow.

11:29AM Ryan Block from GDGT: What about running unsigned apps? Steve: You know, there's a porn store for Android. Anyone can download them. You can, your kids can. That's just not a place we want to go.

OUCH... Steve being an ass...

Hey Steve, what if it's a place the people who buy you F'ing phone want to go?

I work on and have several Mac computers that I LOVE, but I have to say the whole iPhone control thing with Apple is freaking annoying and ridiculous.
