Root [International Tegra 3] Please help my one x :(

Thanks for the replies guys, So if i got this right.. i should

install jb rom (arhd 17.1)
relock bootloader
flash the firmware.zip folder
-clear fastboot cache
relock
flash arhd boot.img

That should be it right? Also i have hboot 1.12 currently. Do i have to get all the other versions and flash each one?

That should be it right?

that would prolly work too. dont forget that the firmware is replacing your recovery,and also you might check if the arhd boot image is actually different than stock,as you wont need to flash it if it is in fact the same.

so your directions,modified slightly:
-install jb rom (arhd 17.1)
-relock bootloader
-flash the firmware.zip folder
-clear fastboot cache
-re-unlock
-flash arhd boot.img
-reflash custom recovery

or mine,modded slightly:
-make backups. veryify build and radio
-relock bootloader
-flash firmware
-re-unlock bootloader
-reinstall your custom recovery
-flash a jb rom(arhd)
-flash arhd boot.img

either should get you there

i do not think youll need to flash each and every single one. however,if you find that the firmware will NOT flash,the hboot may be the prollem. in wich case you may have to flash a newer one. if you need to,i would try installing 1.28,then install the newest,see if thats a go

Also, can only findthe RUU.exe 1.26 and 1.29, will running the exe do the same job as flashing? If not how do i extract the firmware?

Found out how to extract rom.zip from the RUU's, but the 1.26 has hboot 0.43 and 1.28 has hboot 0.93, both are older than mine...

youll need to run a whole ruu,or an htc signed firmware package(from an OTA)

if the the ruus you mentioned have older hboots,that wont do you any good. does the xda link,or the link where you found your 1.36 hboot not list a 1.28 download? if you can find a signed 1.28 package,try:

-make backups. veryify build and radio
-relock bootloader
-flash 1.28 firmware (erase cache)
-flash 1.36 firmware (erase cache)
-re-unlock bootloader
-reinstall your custom recovery
-flash a jb rom(arhd)
-flash arhd boot.img

I cant find another hboot version thats higher than mine except 1.36. I found the RUU i can extract it from, except its on filefactory and i cant dl without premium.

oops... i had to restart my my while i was downloading it,and forgot to restart it... and then it was gone,from the emptiness of my head,lol

didnt meant to leave you hangin,its downloading now. itll take a couple hours,so it prolly wont be dont before i leave for work in an hour. im off at 7 EST so as long as nothing crashes after i leave,ill upload it to shipped roms for you late this eveing.

what hboot are you looking for? its an ICS ruu,for what thats worth.

I think i got one last question for ya scotty. The hboot in this is the same as mine. Does that mean if i run this ruu i can get the phone back to stock? If so ill be able to get the OTA updates to JB, correct?

Sorry, answered that my self went back to stock and doing the jb update at the moment. Thanks for all your help fella's, i think i have what i want out of my one x now.
