Viperboy, i've read through here and seem to come up with conflicting answers. Are you able to disable sense, out of the box? Obviously we'll root and burn custom rom's but just wondering if sense can be disabled.
 
Anyone concerned about battery life? I guess we won't know until reviews come out, but I, for one, am a little concerned.

(Wonderful news today, sorry to be a downer...)

Yes, Sense can be disabled.
 
As long as the battery lasts me a full day I'm not all that concerned. I'm sure we'll be able to get larger capacity batteries through 3rd parties and possibly vzw also.

Wow. More Incredible manual errors? Unless the design is VERY different inside, seems either the manual is more wrong, or different designs (not just cosmetic).

The Desire has the card positioned so you must remove the battery (lame like Droid and Nexus), but Incredible's manual clearly shows the card slot on the side (page 17) and accessible without removing the battery (nice). Something is not adding up here (not just my poor math skills).

Exactly - perhaps the word 'weak' would be more appropriate;
i.e. "The Apple 4.0 announcement was so incredibly weak today, it's unbelievable!"
 
I've never seen a phone User Manual on 8.5 x 11 paper before. There has just been WAY too much crap out there for me to get excited over this. There's nothing I would like to believe more, but we just can't be sure.

I had a similar issue. I'm looking to switch my provider to Verizon and wanted to get a Droid while I waited on the Incredible. 2 reps in 2 stores both told me I'd be charged a $35 restocking fee to return the phone. I decided to wait.
 
Bad news on the Costco front. As promised i went in today and looked through Costco's Inventory system and could not find any information about the Incredible. I tried using the keywords: verizon, vzw, htc, incredible, adr6300 and 6300, but got nothing.

I also asked our Verizon rep inside the kiosk if she had any information about the phone and she said we wouldnt be selling it any time soon. She said they always get information about phones we will be selling at least 2 months in advance. I asked if that was true about more recent phones like the Droid. She said it was and pointed out we didnt even start selling the Droid until about a month after everyone else and guessed that if we were to sell the Incredible it would probably be the same situation. Sorry to contradict the guy who said Costco would be getting them next week, he certainly got my hopes up, but it seems to be untrue.
