Help why does my screen look different ?

Why does my evo v 4g screen looks kinda of different from my friend evo v. His looks more darker & better . Is there something wrong with mines?
 
I can understand 'Brighter and more vibrant', But 'darker and better' I do not understand. You have got to elaborate a bit more on that. Are your colors off, Whites not completely whites, etc, etc. Without details and or pictures, It's hard to determine what the differences are. Does he have an anti-glare screen protector?
