Hey guys. I did a full wipe of everything coming from another rom and had an issue where the WiFi or 4g will not turn on. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how do you fix it? Otherwise, awesome job![]()
I had the same problem with 4g when i tried to turn it on from the quick settings (i did a full wipe before install). I went into the regular settings for 4g and it turned on that way. It was still acting funny though and took a while before it would start scanning.
This rom version crashed on me once too. It seems to eat a significant more of my resources than the 110 rom. I dont know. Maybe I just need to reinstall it, but I might just reflash back to 111 or 110 for now.

What's eating all the memory up with this version? I'm down to like nothing.
I finally broke 10k. Do you know if the dirt mod mac kernal runs sense?
The issue I had I had to flash twice ( I have s-on ) I did everything twice and it fixed the issues
Please integrate the original what to screenshot in this rom. I used to be able to hold the power button and press home, but having to hold down the power button and then select screenshot is a hassle.
no, i am s-off. did the wire trick without any problems. This is your first rom i have had any issues with.
I did a full wipe before install and right off the bat i noticed that more of my ram was being hogged. I installed twice. Then i had the 4g issue both times too. Not sure why. Sounds like its just me that had this problem, so who knows. I went back to 111 and it runs perfectly though. i dont care about google now so I am happy. You do a great job on these.
What's eating all the memory up with this version? I'm down to like nothing.
alright, so its not just me. Yeah, i usually have about 400mb free. I love that about the midnight senseless roms. This one had me down in the low 200's at times. i installed twice just thinking something buggy had happened the first time.
Then once it just outright crashed. I know my memory was really low at the time.
Totally normal to have that muchNo it's not just you. I'm usually at about 400, now 200. Somethings wrong. But what? This rom usually runs great for me.

I'm on 1.1.2 and have 330MB free.
well i wasnt always down in the 200's. Before i installed any apps, I was hanging at around 330 I would say. Then i installed my usually apps, nothing major, a few games, a podcaster, american life, kindle, etc. My memory went down pretty bad. I hot rebooted, but it came back at about 300 when I wasnt running anything. dropped into the 2's here and there. Tried fully rebooting too, but the memory was significantly lower than it had ever been for me. Right now, with the same apps installed on the 111 rom, i am at about 400 when i close my apps, and about 350 or so with my podcaster running and my email open.
I know that Google Now probably sucks some recources, but that cant be taking an extra 100 by itself I wouldn't think.
EDIT: 20 minutes after hot reboot on v111 I am at 430 with apps closed. Same test on 112 had me at low 300's.

Thanks DakMan! I will give the newest one a shot. It's actually not that I think running in the 300's and 200's is so bad, it's that it is so much less than the previous roms. From 111 to 112 it started hogging a lot more on mine. I guess that is just how the user feels about that balance between the rom being light and the rom being performance based. I love that the previous roms are soooo light. It's simple, yet powerful. Assuming that i didnt have any bugs going on, the newer one seemed to have a great amount of features and is blazing fast, but also I have to assume that the more consumption in memory translates to more consumption on my battery.
Either way, your roms are so awesome. I need to go back to the OP and see how to donate to you. I can't imagine the amount of work you have to go through to get all this to work and address silly questions from people like me.
I actually got my computer working on optimizing all the system files right now. (All the images in it, compressing all the apk's, etc etc). This should lessen the memory load by some.
The battery consumption on the latest version, in my opinion at least, is incredible. I've been listening to pandora over bluetooth for most of the day and i'm at 73%.
And ty! ^_^ It is a lot of work, but I enjoy it ^_^
It's actually something I put in a while back, but never actually put an init.d script to run it (oops lol)AWESOME! It looks like you have added a lot of good stuff. I am excited for the touch update especially.
What is the wimax init file hack? I have dmessed with the ##3282# menu. I changed my bandwith to 5,5,5 instead of 10,10,10 and for some reason I could get 4g in my house after committing the changes. I used to only get it from my master bedroom on the second story and now i get it downstairs very weakly, but I do get it. i am interested in what this hack might be.
Is JellyBean on the horizon?

New version coming tomorrow (Sorry about all the updates guys! Well...kinda sorry xD Updates are always good ^_^)
I'm happy to report that I haven't had any problems at all the past few days, especially with these updates.Actually I did both of those things lol. I'm on my cell right now, but my computer is uploading the updates. I'll post the newer change log tomorrow ^_^Hey dakman, great rom so far!I'm happy to report that I haven't had any problems at all the past few days, especially with these updates.
I do have a request though. Can you change the youtube app you include in your rom to the one that's here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529715 ?
There's no negatives to doing, so I don't think anyone else would mind, and it would save me the (slight) hassle of installing the modded youtube every time there's an update or when I reboot my phone. Thanks!
Also, will this new update (1.1.4) update Nova Launcher to 2.0? I've had to update it every time I flash a rom update and it would be nice if it was just included in the rom.
