Just because it's gonna be released at the end of the month, doesn't mean we're happy that they haven't announced it yet. I think they should announce it as soon as possible, and if they announce other phones that don't match up, then the customer base has a reason to be angry that they aren't giving info to what they want.

Are customer's asking for more information/announcements as to what cool Project Pink phones are coming? No. We would like to hear any confirmation about the Incredible, and have every right to bad mouth Verizon if they don't.

moviNAND offers some pretty nice advances over standard flash. very fast and has an embedded controller.

are either of these what you're hearing...

allows you to boot from an alternate ROM? thus have multiple OS images to switch between on-demand...? :D

HD video streaming? ;)
 
Phandroid is definitely jumping the gun saying the Incredible is going to be announced this Monday. Not good for credibility. Let's hope it does get announced.

Freak! I try not to clutter up the thread with google voice posts and all that so I try PM'ing and all the good stuff over a matter of weeks (as well as months of waiting from Google) and nothing..so I'll throw it out and ask if anyone has another they don't mind sharing :)
 
With the outstanding lineup of phones available and coming out soon (Incredible) that will be running Android, it isn't a mystery why Android's popularity is skyrocketing.


It's funny to be witnessing history repeat itself. Apple's closed system will once again render them as a niche while the open Android system will take over the main stream. Apple got a bit of a head start in the market so it will take a while longer, but it is inevitable.
 
What does "phandroid" mean in the background of that graphic? Isn't that an Android fan website? And is this graphic part of Android or Verizon?

I agree. One of the reasons that Google cited regarding the inability of storing Apps on the SD card was piracy - they didn't want people swapping SD cards with friends. With embedded memory, that "threat" is gone. The fact that it's super-fast moviNAND doesn't hurt either.

Sounds very fanboyish. How about you just do an honest comparison and see how it shakes out?

Sorry, but enthusiasm about a phone is one thing. Getting personally invested in it is another, and it's totally annoying. Fanboys act like they're a better person simply because they have an iPhone. They act like they had a role in designing and manufacturing it. I'd like to think that the folks in here a better than that. As awesome as this phone appears to be, it's still just a phone, and if anyone ever hears me arguing with someone else about who is cooler because of a freakin' phone, you have full permission to shoot me on sight.

Phandroid is associated with this site. That watermark was intentionally added to keep claim to the exclusive leak. I hope this helps.:D
