I'd love to come. Anyone else in the Houston area that is interested is welcome to fly down with me. I've been itching for an exuse to fly a long X-Country now that the weather is so much nicer.

This thread has come such a long way and I'm not beyond organizing "An Incredible Reunion" in Orlando or some other destination of everyone's choice for us all to meet and finally put a face to a name. After nearly 600 pages, 30k posts, and almost 2 million views (not to mention countless exclusives, leaks, photoshop exposures, etc...) i think we deserve it! So out of pure curiosity...who would be interested in making a weekend out of it when we all have an Incredible in our hand???:eek:

That would be cool and very awkward at the same time. I say Washington DC area! Orlando is too far!

My only concern from this phone is the battery. I am buying this phone for my girlfriend, who has verizon, (I have been waiting for Nexus One, but it appears it will never arrived to Verizon).

But the battery is less than Nexus one and the talk time, stand-by are way less as well.
 
Did I miss anything the past 1:30 while I watched Hot Tub Time Machine.
In all seriousness what day next week we going to here something incredible. I like the Idea of friday next week.

Well i have no vested interest in Orlando just figured it was one of those destinations you could make other arguments to go to. Like while you're geeking out your wife and kids or significant other can go shopping, disney, west coast beaches, etc... Good weather, destination city, attractions, yatta yatta...

As I said earlier as a lifelong Red Sox (is that what you had trouble remembering) fan, it's too bad they don't hand out the World Series trophy in April because if they did, the Sox would have far more than the Yankees!

We still don't know the Talk time and stand by time of the CDMA Nexus One it won't be the same as the GSM version, My guess is it will be slightly better than the Incredible since it's 1400mAh vs 1300mAh but it won't be close to the other Nexus Ones imo.

I ***might*** (emphasis on might) be able to pursuade Rob (AF owner) to somehow get involved...maybe some t-shirts dedicated to the thread, maybe partial cost participation, or the start of a new annual tradition for whomever can make it...who knows, could be big, but even big things start off with a first step, and we could be that first step.

Oooh, well that's a good idea. In that case Orlando is a an excellent option.

I guess I just don't have the family mentality yet.
 
To everyone who said this is just a phone: can just a phone unite this many people from all walks of life? I think not! This is more than a phone. It is truly incredible!

Battered women shelters are great. You can also donate phones (usually to your local PD/SO. Most have contacts that send the donated phones overseas to our servicemen and women.
