I had assumed they were both "real", but I guess my question now is why is the box on the "Journey" image completely different than the box on the "Code 6" image? It's clearly 100% a different box (or is the 2nd box even confirmed to be a box at all?), not just placed differently.
Looking at the 2nd picture again, I *wonder* if it's a picture of the box blown open w/ something shown inside of the box?
I actually kind of enjoy that site now. It's like reading The Onion.

less than a yr ago, so I think my only option is full retail
I have to say that if the journey referred to in the ad is predicting MS Pink alone? I think it would be more of a comedy than a journey. Pink? Journey? Seriously? BWAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!

well, yes... but you can buy a new phone each year (on a 2 yr deal) so if the one year mark is soon, you could wait for that to save a few bucks... I would imagine the full retail is somewhere around 5-600.
i had a vzw csr mention code name 6 also. when i mentioned the incredible today... he said come back monday.. and he hinted at the being more than one phone..
Here are the two images for you to compare. I tried to get them down to about the same size for comparison sake:

The original photo, although it looks photoshopped (because it was, but more than likely by VZW themselves) was confirmed independently by several different sources. Anonimac had his sources here, and a few of the blog sites that check sources instead of regurgitating information in their blogs and on twitter, also confirmed the picture with the box "Top Secret Codename: 6"
The hole that it has broken through is identical from one picture to the next...the only difference is the size of the blast on the right, and the placement of the box-corner.
However...I think that is only important if the messages weren't in fact confirmed by several different people as being authentic...and just the way he/she received it.
Please know that this pains me more then you know. I am not trolling, so lets get that out of the way. If you look at all of my posts I have been more then helpful up until this post. Just no one calls fall play this is on topic. Without further delay.
I have taking the time to read over the PDF file that we where given. There are allot of discrepancies. More then Verizon would ever allow. More over the PDF should have been created by HTC, being that its a HTC product. I would like to note that I have my doubts now if the phone will come with the 8Gb moviNAND. Reason being is if that PDF is correct then there is no mention. But if its a fake then we have yet to see any solid proof of the memory. Other then a couple testers who have yet to determine if the phone was misreading the SD card even when removed. Do remember that even test phones have bugs. The other thing I have found while going through the PDF is allot of bad references. One section mentions SD card expandable to 16Gb while another will say 32.
What I think I am trying to get at is I would think that the end of the month release maybe true. But people have had plenty of time to create a multitude of bogus info. If that info is placed well enough it can be mistaken for fact rather then fiction. Please don't flame me for taking precaution. I heed you all to take precaution in trusting all these fast leaking rumors and "facts". There maybe allot of disappointment in the future.
Meanwhile I hope this phone is just as it says. Incredible
ok, so i'm reading a lot of information on our thread and many other external sites and just want to clarify a few things, at least as i understand them.
I'm not saying the Incredible will be announced on Monday. The internal memo we, and other sites, have was an internal teaser/announcement to Verizon employees that Monday is the start of a journey. We all know that Monday is definitely dedicated to the Project Pink phones from MS but i've also been told be several sources that we will see 5-6 (not clear if it's 5 or 6 yet) new phones over the next month from Verizon and the Incredible will certainly be one of those. Our previous dates are not impacted as far as i'm aware but we may see more information (press kit, launch kit, accessories, etc...) or an announcement of the Incredible over the next week.
Either way this is an exciting time for anyone on Verizon as their portfolio is about to grow by 5-6 more devices and Verizon will be, in my opinion, better positioned than any other wireless carrier to provide a fit-for-purpose product for just about every demographic and phone segment, something that AT&T held the crown in for years. By the end of this year we'll see or (maybe two) LTE phones which will blow the pants off of everyone when Big Red starts implementing its change management processes and proven track record of infrastructure deployments and hardening. It's a good time to be a VZW customer...
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...("this is the best microSD card"..."nah huh...THIS is the best microSD card"..."that's like so photoshopped"..."i'm old but pump iron watch out if i see you at the sizzler whippersnappers"...rinse repeat)![]()

'nuff said...take it or leave it.
Also forget the fact that is says 16, 32 or any other size on the Equipment Guide, this is common, same thing was the case with the ERIS...they just check them all off so that when you're in the store and some 5 dollar per hour non-genius has to look up "if it works with an 8 GB card" the answer comes back as yes for 8, 16, 32, etc...
